I sold my breadmaker just over a year ago. When I first bought it I used it loads but eventually we just started buying bread again :o I've tried doing it with my KW Chef but it never seems to turn out right no.gif
The one I had was Morphy Richards one and it did loads, I got it for about £40. Everyone who has a Panasonic one raves about them though!!

Had an email this morning saying charges are to be applied to my Sfurious.gifder account. I haven't been OD on it since the 30th May but there will be £3 charged so they obviously work more than 1 month behind?

Off into college today to be shown around the library there as I'm starting a course related to work. It's one that you do at home but I have use of their facilities. I'm hoping this means a student card as well :rotfl:

Shame about the charges, how do they expect people to budget if they apply charges so late.

I sometimes make slow bread, that's really easy to do, don't need a mixer or bread maker, just throw everthing together, give a very short knead, and leave to prove in a fridge for as long as you like really, I often bake as needed and have left the dough in the fridge for a week and a half, and it was still fine. lots of free recipes online. :)

Good luck on the student card that would be very useful.

Can't see your pic as work computer blocks it, so will have a look when at home later :D

I sometimes make bread by hand, when I've got the time, and I find it really theraputic :) I can't see your pic at work either, but I'll have a nosey when I get home :D

    Great photo :-)

@ Belle, when I had a breadmaker, I just didn't add the salt and sugar, didn't seem to be a problem, you could give it a go with a small loaf and see how i turns out. I make slow bread by hand and that's really easy, because you don't need to do the whole kneading and proving bit. Link for good recipe below, again I don't add the salt.

    Thanks Fae :)

Well the charges are because my statement date runs from the 28th of the month so I had the 28th, 29th & 30th May where I was using the OD. I stupidly assumed that it would run from the 1st of the month.

I got a student card for the college but that's just to use to access their facilities, I am eligible for an NUS card though :D I am a little bit excited lol it also means I can get into footy cheaper.

Laptop has decided it doesn't want to charge any more smiley-angry016.gif so it's got to be plugged in permanently.

Nothing planned for today really, back to work tomorrow so just going to chill out :)

I couldn't live without my bread maker I use it to make cakes, bread and jam a lot. My mum bought it for me a year last christmas and I think I have used it every week since. I'm too lazy to make it by hand :)
