    Thanks for that PC World note, funnily enough i tried them myself today to check it was working and was told they'd send an application immediately. I suggest you try giving them another call - hopefully someone different answering will send you a different answer!

    Just checked out the PC world credit card and it seems it is under review and new applications wont be taken until march '04! just thought you shold know.

    I believe MINT are charging 0% for the first till 1st Oct 2004 on balance transfers and on purchases plus a cash back option.

    I have recently been sent details of the new 'MINT' credit card.

    This is a cardrun by RBS.

    They offer 0% on balance transfers until October 2004 and a 10.9% long term rate.

    i have received a credit card application from Capitalone and i think its really good.
    3.9% for BT for life of the loan

    7.9% for normal use which i think is cheapest around ;D

    i think its worth applying for
    if you need a short term loan for example and can work out cheaper (not sure about paying.79 pence per£100 for payment protection though)

    this way every time you need a small loan the credit file won't be checked again.
    i will be applying for mine soon ;D

    My wife received an application form in the post today from Bank of Scotland for a credit card supporting the Cats Protection League with the following benefits

    *0% on purchases and balance transfers for the first 9 months

    *£40 worth of Marks and Spencer vouchers when you become a principal card holder and start using the card within the first 30 days

    The card also gives donations to the CPL at various times as you use it.
