Has the Dixons Travel offer finished? I can find my local store on Foursquare but the offer's not showing.

Edit: Answered my own question, it's through Xbox not Foursquare :p. Very interesting that they can be used at Currys/PC World!

is the dixons gift card valid in earphone warehouse by any chance?
  • What do you want to search for? Their website lists all their locations in the footer: http://www.dixonstravel.com/

They only have airport locations :) Nope - CPW is a different company so can't see why they'd take DSG cards?
  • I noticed the question has been asked before, but I couldn't see a reply, so therfore asking again...
How do you sign up to the emails from Amex? The only way I seem to find out about offer is by checking this thread...
Would be great if someone could let me know!
I don't think I can hang on til Friday...
  • With great difficulty in my experience!! I'd have a look in your online account but the easiest thing is probably to email customer services and ask them to make sure you're not opted out. However even having done this I still find it a bit inconsistent as to whether I get told or not!

Thanks for replying! Which customer services is that - foursquare, or where?

Edit: Sorry if that sounded a bit dim, but as my Amex is a Lloyds duo one, my online account is with Lloyds, I've never signed up on an actual Amex site...?

  • My email about it was from Amex, so I'd contact them.
  • Ok thanks - I'll have a go!

  • OK success with Amex-Xbox Carphone Warehouse offer - they can do 'gift vouchers', they just don't look particularly gift-like! They instead print out a till receipt with the credit (not all sales staff seem to know how to process them as it's not a particularly common request!). They also sell £25 iTunes cards, but sadly Google Play Store cards aren't yet available in the UK. The voucher is showing valid until 2021!! :)
