Did it for Strada and EAT today. I only got the message confirming it had gone through after payment for Strada. I definitely loaded the card for EAT. Does it sometimes not come through on foursquare but you still get the money back?

I've asked on the Amex facebook page if the offer works with additional cards as I've registered hubbies card. off shopping later but he's taken his card to work

Foursquare isn't showing any specials for the linked brands in central London (The Strand) - No Nando's, Strada, Eat etc - any idea what's up? There are plenty of outlets - they just don't have the special linked

Something is not the same. when I checked yesterday there were lots of special deals. TESCO, Pizza Express, Nandos, Primark ... Cant find any today .. looks like they might have withdrawn them due to the repsonse .. Can some kindly confirm .. ????

LloydsTSB people saying it doesn't work - I believe you're making the same mistake I did, and downloading the Amex app and trying to register your amex there, where it tells you exactly that. The foresquare app is different.

found it on the apple store but won't work unless you have IOS5 which my older phone doesn't have (and not sure it can have)

You can only check in to a place when you are close by to the outlet.

must be missing something

When you are close by a location offering a deal, it will appear on your foursquare places as 'special' with the details of the offer eg. £10 back with £10 spend. You can explore your local area on the app by changing the distance away from you that it returns participating stores. eg. 1/2km to 5km
