Same here, i have 3 registered cards and 2 of them are linked to one account. I have split transactions with the 3 cards and managed to get credit for all 3 cards.
Eg for Harvey Nichols £25 deal, I split £75 transaction with the 3 cards £25 on each and it works.

So, how/why do you get the extra cards? Do you apply for new accounts or just additional cards?? Must get confusing, no?

How? By applying. Why? For signup bonuses and these kinds of offers.

Have a Lloyds Duo, BMI, BA, Gold and Nectar. I only use one regularly (after the signup bonus requirements) and I have a spreadsheet for these kinds of offers so I can keep track of which I've used for which offer. Although I normally just just all 5 at once for things like the HN offer. And my foursquare accounts all end with the last 4 digits of the card @ my personal domain so I know which foursquare account is synced to which card.

Amex is just a type of card like Visa or Mastercard so there's no reason why you can't have more than one.

Sounds intriguing! But 10 amex cards would just get far too confusing for me. specially if i also need 10 foursquare accounts too. well done though!

I haven't got 10, I've got got 5 . But the Harvey Nichols offer has been on twice under separate deals, hence 10x £25.
