Can I ask what the Times offer is please? I have Sunday's and today's copies back in the office so would hate to throw away something useful. Thanks

Nightmare day at Boots today :(

I originally went to use the Times vouchers but a parenting voucher arrived in the post from Ebay so I decided to spend that as well.

I got a few things to put in my basket as well as a No7 mirror to try and disguise it and found a lovely oldish lady willing to serve me, I had enough in my basket for 3 seperate transactions.

Everything went fine and I had found some reduced Botanics for £1 and I had a 250 point voucher so used that at the same time as well as a 150 point on the Sanctuary product I was getting free with the Times voucher.

First trans went through fine and then she did the 2nd trans which included the mirror and she never batted an eyelid when the total to pay came to £1, I then noticed the points on the first trans had not gone on, in hindsight, I should have left well alone but it was 400 points!

I queried it but she didn't know how to rectify it so she called a manager over, bad move!!!!

The manager said you can't use points vouchers on items you have got for free and she also said she had told the person who does the atm machine to remove all references to Botanics while the reduced stuff was on sale (cheeky and possibly morally wrong!)!

I had Botanics vouchers from last week so there was nothing she could do about that.

She then started asking why the mirror had come up as 0.00 when the real cost was £19.99 and the parenting voucher was only for £5, as you can imagine, I wanted the floor to open up by now!

She couldn't find the voucher for it for ages and I thought she was going to let it go and then she spotted it  and that was it, she voided the sale and said you can have it for £14.99!, I said no thank you and took my voucher back off her ( which had already been scribbled on!)

I felt so humiliated and cheated in a way, it was within my grasp! and I let it go for the sake of 400 points!

After the manager had gone off, the nice old lady serving me rescanned the vouchers so I did get the 400 points on all three trans but I really wanted that mirror!

My daughter who was with me was fuming, the mirror was for her and she was gutted

Moral of the story, if you manage to get the mirror scanned without trouble, keep your head down!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ooh I just checked and I don't have a little book of treats, I have a little book of coupons.. is that it? Although the letter says I should have a book of treats too.. do they come together or separate or have I misunderstood n they're the same thing? sooo confusing all this boots malarkey

I got mine today too, they are separate books that come in the same envelope. I'd email customer services and tell them your was missing.

Thanks to the op for the times offer. I only bought one copy. However, I found a copy of the style mag, on the train this morning going into work. I couldn't believe the voucher was still inside. How lucky is that?:j

Had a great shop yesterday at my local store. They had the pink striped N7 boxes. No N7 staff around, so put one in my basket, then found some reduced N7 nail polish @3.00 put two in my basket. Went upstairs and found Exclaimation bag sets (with perfume and body spray inside) priced @2.24 Paid at pharmacy. SA did'nt bat an eyelid when the box scanned at 0.00 and the bag scanned at 1.12 bargain! handed over 5N7 voucher. Paid 2.12
Went back upstairs for 2 more bags (will make nice gifts for neices) and got another N7 box and 2 x nail polish. Handed over 5n7 voucher. Paid 3.24

This morning I tried to use the 5.00 Sanctuary voucher. SA said it had expired:confused: so I just bought 2 x nail polish again and got another N7 box. SA scanned box first. She had a puzzled look on her face. I told her it was free with the nail polish. Total to pay after N7 voucher 1.00:D

I couldn't see any signs near the boxes. I have no idea what they are free with or how much you have to spend. Will look out for signs over the next few days.

Has anyone managed to use the SS 5.00 voucher today? I called the number on the voucher, but the lady had no idea what I was talking about. Do you think this is Boots' way of getting back at us for all the bargains we've had lately? :rotfl: we can't complain though. We have had some mega bargains recently. I am more than happy with all the stuff I have...long live Boots:D

Does anyone know when the free Santuary bag offer ends? I had a look on boots website but couldn't find any details on it.

I can highly recommend the Sanctary Spa skincare item, Perfectly Polished hot cloth cleanser, I tried it on myself and my hubby and both our skins look radiant, it really did make a huge difference!

    I am now hooked :)

I can also recommend the Microbrasion and the 24 hour moisturiser, both left my skin feeling lovely :T
