I placed an order on boots.com last night and managed to get £17 of points on a £40 spend! Thought I had done quite well for a beginner and had to tell someone as other half thinks I am having an affair with boots! :o

Well done!!! :T :T :T I only order online when I can get nearly half back in points. Think I've used the codes that are available at the moment, have to wait for new ones.

    Hi
I managed to get some of the Protect and Perfect 30 ml and some lipstick bags and have been selling them on E-Bay. However I have had a snotty message from a Boots employee saying I shouldnt be selling them. As I pointed out I had paid for them so I could sell if I wanted. After I sent a reply asking what business it was of hers she then apologised ( I think she was a little envious!! as I dont think Boots employees are allowed to do it ) I dont know they try to stop you getting freebies or bargains and then think they can stop you selling things!!!
Also re the postman being light fingered ( in one of the above posts ) do you really think somebody would pinch money off vouchers!!! My husband was a postman for 33 years and it really annoys me how people think it is ok to always have a go at them.
Ok rant over. Just need to see if I can get into the bedroom for all my Boots and Tesco bargains!!!

Hiya well it does happen as a while ago mum got home as a new postie walked away from her house with a parcel in his hand. She ran after him but he leapt in his van and drove off. Inside her house was a card about the parcel she drove to the sorting office next day and guess what the parcel had vanished! It only takes one rogue holiday postie am sure most are great!

    Hi
It was me that originally said about the postman - I didn't actually mean that they might have stolen it - what I meant was that it usually just a sealed leaflet with your name and address on it - like lots of advertising stuff. I just thought some may have dumped it thinking it was junk to make their job easier. I really don't think that anyone would be sad enough to steal them!!

I wasn't having a go at postmen as I'm sure 99% are genuine trustworthy although someone describes a bad experience above it's just like everything else in life there are always a small minority of bad ones.

Sorry if I offended you or anyone else.

ps. I can't believe a boots employee did that with you selling on ebay - what a jobsworth!! - like you said it's none of their business!

    Hi all - me again?!

Not really boots related......but I have posted this on the freebies thread and thought I would put it here too for people who don't read that thread as I assume most bootsers like smellies

If you click on the link below and follow through to the United Kingdom part of the website either watch or skip the movie - there is a voucher to fill in, print out and take it to a Thierry Mugler Counter for a free sample of Eau De Star.

    http://www.eaudestar.thierrymugler.com/

Their perfumes are usually fab so I'm assuming it will be nice.

    Hope that helps someone.

Well my postman just delivered the wrong mail to everyone this morning. He was having a bad day he said and has managed to post everyones mail through the wrong doors ! I got my neighbours and my neighbour got his neighbour but my mail is Still missing and no one knows where it is ( and not all my neighbours are going to be honest enough to return it ) ! Mail goes missing for loads of reasons not just theifing - however theft goes on in most companies which does include the post office.
Im just hoping no one sent me free boots vouchers !

chickenpants well done :T .What did you get to get so many points ?

I purchased some no7 clenser and tonor (plus another free) and it gave me 300 points
Bought 2 x clinique face soaps people on here have talked about(in the hope that at 27 I may get rid of my spots!!) and got 750 points
used a code from the vouchers board that gave me 500 points
and earned 159 points from basket contents

so managed to only spend £40.09 (got a few essentials to take me to the free delivery amount) and got 1709 in points!! :j

Well done - your certainily not a newbie now ! :T
I would really recommend the no7 micro dermersion exfoliater for your skin- it is brillian, i have sesitive skin and can use it. I really cleans your skin up, leaves it silky smooth and glowing.Maybe wait until the next no7 voucher offer is on again- prob may - and get it then.Definately one of the best products I have used and sadily I have filtered a lot of money on beauty products .

In Liverpool Clayton Square today I got the Glitterbabes roller skates and Glitterbabes nail varnish kit, includes a nail dryer for £4.50 each. They were marked up as £6.00 but scanned at the till for £4.50.

These were at the tills on the ground floor in the far corner by the suncare.
