it was sauchiehall street, but the girl was a bit suspicious, kind of perma tanned & overly highlighted hair on the main tills! said she was going to query it, but gave me it ok. so if your going to try, today may be a good idea:j
  • my sis obviously does not listen to a thing i say. I gave her a couple of suncreams and told her all about the n7 voucher=2suncreams for £1.:j

She went off to Boots today. Bought two n7 suncreams and paid £12!!!!
She didn't even do it seperately to get two n7 vouchers!!!

Can she take these back with the receipt? Are they all defo 342 now? SA should reallly have mentiioned this to her!

gave her big long lecture and and said maybe i'd better take them back for her!;)

Im no longer a Bootser. Handed back my ac earlier and told them i will never shop there again.

I went in this morning, only to get some aqueous cream for dd and thought i'd ask at the same time about not getting ac points for Clinique purchases. Before anyone flames me, i was only asking, i wasnt stamping feet and demanding they put the points on. The pharmacy sa didnt know so i said its ok, i'll ring cs when i get home. No. She ran off with my reciept and ac and came back with an Estee Lauder sa.

This is where it gets hairy. She accused me of stealing £150 of Clinique items to get 750 points on my ac (if anyone can work that out, i'll gladly post my remaining vouchers out to them), i was trying to explain that i had a voucher for the 750 points but no. My dh has a brain injury and she started on him too demanding that he must understand what she was saying (i dont even think the other sa's understood), i did ask her to stop accusing me as i had a very stressful day yesterday but she wouldnt stop. So i asked to see the manager who sided with her staff. So i just gave back my card and walked out.

My mum cant even understand it, if i stole stuff, why would i have points on my card? Ive never stolen anything in my life and im so embarassed and ashamed now, to be accused like that. My mum is :T that i gave my card back even though it has roughly £65 on it. But i have nothing to hide, im waiting for cs to ring me back and have told them to call the police, they are most welcome to search my house for the £150 of items i apparently stole.

I feel distraught. Sorry. I wasnt even going to tell them, nor anyone actually, about my day yesterday, its my own business. But they must not treat customers like this.

If anyone wants my vouchers, just pm me, its the remaining vouchers from the 'as one of our best customers' valid for april. Dont want to throw them out.

And for 750 points, i would've stole £187.50. But try as i might, i just cant work it out.

Edited because forgot to add, the Clinique ac machine isnt working.

What!!! i had to read this twice it still doesnt add up. how did they think you stole items, thats outrageous, what did CS say??

that is terrible, why would u bother with AC pts if u were a shoplifter? how stupid. why would u steal to get pts. Blooming cheek, i'd demand a written apology and make sure u get your AC back. they are your pts. earned fair and square!

Agreed! That's insane, write a letter to head office too as a complaint. Put it on paper and mail it to the Managing Director, management should be made aware when staff are treating customers like this

    That is shocking:eek:
See what cs say ,but i would be tempted to write to head office snailmail and demand an apology.
How could you have stolen all that and as others have said why bother with ac points!
Let us know how you get on

Thanks for the replies, i will update on cs when they call back, the man i spoke to works til 6pm so may be much later as i told him im off out for a short time later (to pick up dd from nursery). Said too that they should be able to see from my ac where ive been getting the points from, plus i paid for the Clinique with my cc.

I was so upset, i stormed off and left dh in the middle of town on his own, its not his fault:cry:
