does your housekeeper have annoying habits?

Many of you will be aware that I had to change my housekeeper a few months ago.

The current one is great , can't fault her , she trained as a chef as well so my lunches have cheered up no end.

The trouble is she hums , by that I dont mean she has poor hygiene, but she is always humming , and its very annoying really.

If it had been the former I could have found 100 different ways to suggest deodorant in a kind way, but how on earth can you request a person stops happily humming?

You dont come across as someone who minces their words tod. Why not just say 'xxxx can you stop humming please, I find it distracts me from my very important work'. Job done, simples!

You need to get a long stick out of the hedge, no thicker than your thumb mind, and every time she starts humming give her a good thrashing, that'll stop her.

May have some slight effect on the quality of your lunches though ;)

In a strange way I kinda with she did stink , that would be simple. I could buy her a nice perfume gift set from John Lewis.

This humming lark has become a bind , I was in the Kitchen on my laptop last Friday and she was humming 'Bermuda triangle' by Barry Manilow , so I turned up the radio , but I could still hear her

Tod sit down with the housekeeper and have a chat over a cuppa. Admit that you have a few annoying habits and suggest that if you agree to stop one of yours she could stop humming. Expect her to give you a long list to choose from, and maybe a slap round the chops for not instantly getting that you dont think she smells ;)

A small price to pay for being able to live in peace though isn't it.
