just a thought here...... could you not have your picture taken in the dress (chop your face off the picture if you dont want to be recognised) and send the picture in as proof that the dress isnt suitable length as described?

just for the record i had this a little while back
i purchased a suite that was supose to be worn once but infact it had been worn so much the print on the label had worn off
the woman disputed it and dug her heals in
i sent it back to her at my cost and she said she never recieved it
silly me never recorded the delivery as it cost too much.
i never left feedback for her and she never left feedback for me

this woman appears to be either genuinely daft or is thinking she can get away with it,

I showed my dad the dress and he pointed out the dirty label (yuk ?) where it has clearly been worn,

will warn her what im going to do first but unless she offers me a full refund with no further cost i think a neg is justified.

Make sure you remain purely factual in your neg though - plain: Item not at all as described. Contacted seller, very unhelpful and impolite - buyers avoid.

I'd also bung in there that she refused to refund.

she has now agreed to refund but wont cover the cost of me returning the dress, ive agreed so its off in the post today,
