Not *exactly* as described ??

Ive just received a dress which i purchased to wear to a 'prom night'
It was described as 'new without tags' and 'knee length'
Its arrived and it is in a clearly worn condition, the top layer of material has pluck marks and rubbing that could only have been made by wearing a good few times. The dress also barely covers my essentials
Its definately not knee length by any stretch !! It also was in evening dress section but its more casual than that. (subjective i know)
ive messaged the seller but i would like to know what possible outcomes there are, the dress was cheap and normally i wouldnt worry but i now have spent my budget on a waste of time and cant justify just forgetting it. I also dont see why they should get to keep my money when they got it wrong.
TIA

in my (limited) experience of sellers not being quite truthful, i've had nothing but grief & excuses until the point that I just escalate it to a claim, if that's the response that you've had from her, then I would just escalate it without waiting for more excuses. I think you may have a refund or less hassle from her anyway, good luck!nothing to see here, move along...0

*Ahem*... Not exactly as described...
There is a specific claim for that one, as I have now learnt!
