Well we are back from our playdate, rain still pouring. DD in bed, will go get her in a min. DS fell asleep on rug and is now whimpering cos he's not comfy. I have pulled everything out of my wardrobe (not top shelf) put new bit or carpet in bottom, sifted through the plastic drawer thingy, and put that back in along with a few pairs of shoes. Very tidy. Just need to put clothes back in after a last sort through. And that's another challenge done!

Ironed curtains and it made not a jot of difference, they are still crinkled. Even ironed hot through a damp tea towel. They still didn't budge. Need to decide what's for tea. Theres laundry everywhere and toys all over the floor. How can this be? We haven't been here???

Hi all, I've not done much today as I've been to the cinema. I have had a successful freecycle though - posted an ad late last night and item has just been collected (within 15 minutes of the time I said I'd be home!). Lots of space in my hallway now and there will be even more once dad and I have been to the tip tomorrow!!

Anyway, I have to do something so
    HHC 5:00 - 5:30 anyone?

    (And maybe 5:30 - 6:00 as well!!)

yeah but I meant dyslexia - oops!

don't know what I was thinking of...

been helping DD apply for a p/t job online

got to go to Asda - the DVD we bought was awful - kept stopping, jumping bak and even got a sign up on TV - The disk is dirty

came out of a sealed pack too

have made muffins (thanks GnB if you'r elurking) with mr Oetker fruit bits (thanks to Myrtleturtle's ASDA thread - v. cheap) what I DIDN'T do in asda was strip a shelf bare -

LW:wave::wave::wave: Did you have a good time on IOW? Hope the weather was good. Oz says hello, and take it easy.

He's recovering from 32 people telling him he's gorgeous all weekend (and being used as a horse by at least 3 babies). He definitely enjoyed the hog roast leftovers though. He didn't even leave the bones.

We are just about recovered from the weekend. Left Kidderminster at 2130 and arrived home 0300 for DH to go to work at 0630. Uggggh. Thankfully we brought home lots of food so I didn't have to get up to make sandwiches.

Hugs to all in need. Back to flying tomorrow.

Right I reeeeeally need to find my inner flylady! I've moved house this week and been unpacking last night and today but I'm still not finished and the chaos is driving me nuts
So here's my attempt at being a flylady v2.0 :o

I'm totally off schedule but there is just so much to do. Tomorrow I will:
organise and put away my toiletries stash
clear the entire washing basket (by washing, not just hiding them!)
put the spare cooking bits on gumtree
put at least 10 things on ebay
work out how i'm gonna lube up the draws on the ancient dresser from OH's nan and work out how to stop it smelling so musty
Living cheap in central London :rotfl:

Hi to LW and Polly. :j
Hope everything will go smoothly with the new arrival, pigpen.

Another day that didn't go quite to plan. Went to my favourite garden centre up the M1 with DH and DS2 (DH's idea) and bought some fuchsias for the planter outside the front door. :) Also had a nice coffee and some lemon cake. :D

Called at Mr M's on the way back for the urgent bits, fed DS2 and DH and made a cherry flan for friend's birthday. I can't go to see her until DH is back from bowling with the car, though.

Going to make a cuppa and hope that I'll find my guag again - think I've put it in a safe place. :(

    Suggestions, please:
I have half a jar of cherries and lots of syrup/juice left from the flan. Any ideas what to use them for?
