Screen Protector for new mobile
Options
I have just bought a new mobile - a Samsung Galaxy Note - with a 5.3" screen and (obviously) want to keep it in pristeen condition, so am looking for a stick on film screen protector
Amazon have many, ranging from 10 for £3.99 (inc free P&P) - "HOW" ?
To a single film for £11.59
Plus what USB connector do I need to connect to my PC ?
According to Samsung.com - it is a "micro-usb" - but my "micro-usb" connectors are considerably larger
I am confused and would welcome any advice....

Usually I would spend about five to ten quid for a screen protector, although they're all pretty similar. Take the time to put it on properly and you'll barely notice it's there. You would need a USB to Micro USB connector...the USB (standard) end would go in the computer and the Micro USB in the phone. If you put Micro USB into a search in Amazon, it brings up a load, all less than a pound.0

Could it be that my "micro-USB" connectors are "mini-USB"0 -

My Galaxy Ace came with a USB cable, I'm sure the Note would have too.
Its identical to the the USB lead I use for my Kindle, which is nice. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Have to say I've used the screen protectors from ebay, some of them are really good. I've had one duff pack that weren't so great, but at the price of them on there you can afford to take the hit on a duff pack now and again. Still using the wildfire I got when they came out and there's not a mark on the screen thanks to the cheap protectors. And you've reminded me that I could use a new pack, thanks :T4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

I've always used these Zagg ones too.
They're brilliant, but having not used anything else I can't compare.0 -
I presume some screens are worse than others as far as scratches are concerned? I took the decision not to bother with screen protectors (relatively cheap phone) and no scratches so far after 21 months.Stompa0
