The relevant part of HC rule 268 is
Do not overtake on the left or move to a lane on your left to overtake.
    This is advisory only.
If it was illegal it would state Must not.

............ They have done these things professionally. That is why they are here on a regular basis giving advice.

Maybe you could point us to the relevant legislation or guidelines that state this.

Seriously, I say you can undertake, and you now need directions to the legislation that says you can? Even though all the professionals say you can undertake as well? Maybe you need to point us to the legislation that says you can't? I think it is essential to undertake, or you'd be sitting in the lh lane all day, or you'd have to swop lanes, and even the professionals agree you can't move lanes to pass.

This may come as a shock to you, old chap. But actually, many of us actually exist in real life, not just as internet screen names.

GTFA, don't feed the troll. It's obvious he only wants a fight.

Just a bit of an annoyance, Al, when some of us actually know that of which we speak. Now, I wouldn't go onto a cookery forum and tell all the regulars they were doing it wrong, when I can't even boil an egg.

I sure you'd be just as professional in a kitchen. Well, an internet cafe at least.

You see, I know my limitations! I could probably do OK in an internet cafe though! Drinks I can manage.
