My RAC subscription expires on 17th July. I require £58 in vouchers to renew but only have £55.50 until the next statement arrives 21st July.

I can't really let it lapse as we are holidaying in Cornwall during that same week.

    Anything I can do?

    Thanks

My vouchers arrived today and guess what a special offer of 25% off RAC

    Just my luck !!

I have been saving my aunts tesco vouchers to they can be exchanged for a Merlin Pass for me and my husband. I've just seen that a form is sent to you, and the merlin pass will be put in the name the vouchers are in.

Can someone run through the process of getting a merlin pass through Tesco clubcard, and whether i will be able to use this instead of my aunt - is a photo needed or ID?
  • Wondering if anyone else is confused by the points awarded on a Clubcard Plus v Tesco Credit card?
I have both - I load the clubcard plus monthly and use it for my grocery and petrol shopping. The credit card I use infrequently for online shopping etc.

I was under impression that it was best points wise to use the Clubcard Plus card in store (2 points per pound spent) however recently I've been advised several times by assistants that it is better points wise to use the credit card.

I was considering moving the monthly payment to my Clubcard plus account to a standing order into my credit card and always using the credit card to pay.

I have just spoken to Tesco however and they have given me a contrary statement to what staff are saying. Telephone advisor says you get 1 point per pound on credit card plus and additional 1 point per £4 spent.
So for a £100 spent on Clubcard plus I'd get 200 points, if I used the credit card I'd get 125 points. Obviously CC is better points wise if this is the case.

Does anyone have direct experience of this as it does appear that staff are unclear on situation.

Does anyone know if you can use more than one named set of the tesco prezzo vouchers? I have a load, but my sister etc also has some, can we combine the two (and anymore) if we are out together? As long as the named person is present?

If you have rung Clubcard and they have given you different info to the store, then go by CC not the store. There aren't that many CC+ cards about so they may not know the difference. Whereas CC can see your transactions.

  • Have been using Tesco for my weekly online grocery shop (home delivery) for over ten years, but somehow forgot all about Clubcard.

Decided a week ago to dig out my Clubcard and login online, but couldn't find it so got Tesco to send a replacement card (which they have transferred all points to).

Now I can login I find that I have over 30,000 points, but no vouchers.

To my knowledge I've never received any vouchers (and my address details are correct).

So, am I owed a small fortune in vouchers ( I know they expire after two years)?

Why have I never received any vouchers?

Given that I shop weekly, even within the two year period I should have a fair amount of vouchers, so why can't I see them on my account?

    Thanks

As you have so many points it implies to me that on your on-line Clubcard is not on the right address!
You say you have a new card - have you used that in a tesco store and seen 30,000+ points on the till receipt??
You have been sent vchrs some time ago, probably you moved, the vouchers were returned to Tesco by Royal Mail who put an 'address in error' marker on the account - this means no more vouchers get compiled your points just accumulate!

You need to 'phone CC., tell them you trying to track down a clubcard linked to GHS. They can take details from your current physical card - then search for the other one. Search via surname and various alternative postcodes (previous addresses), or if you have an unusual name + first line of address.
Once found, they can link both together, and arrange for vouchers when they start doing re-issues shortly.
Failing that, e.g. you can't remember the postcode it's under or you don't have an unusual name, call GHS (grocery home shopping) quote an order no and they should be able to give you the CC no - then you'll need to ring CC with that info.

  • Nope, never used the Clubcard in a Tesco store.

I can see the old Clubcard number when I log into my account, and of course the new one.

Will give them a call tomorrow.

    Thanks!
