When is this thread going to get closed?
I read the Au Pair thread at the time (it was growing faster than I could read at one point) and whilst I totally understand many people's frustrations, at least that thread was nearly on topic.
The fact that people that do not post on this particular board have (I'm sure) followed the OP over to this board and the content of their subsequent posts read entirely as bullying. Nothing else. The fact that the OP seems to purposely entice it is quite bizarre, but it does nothing to justify anybody's behaviour.
Really, there are people here not behaving very well at all and if they can't see that, it's incredibly sad

I have PM'd the OP and given her some advice about message board harrassment. Hope she doesn't mind. I think all the bullies on this board (and there are several of them) should be ashamed of themselves.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Because some of us dare challange where OUR money goes we are being attacked & insulted especially sarahlouise210.
100% its crazy that its more acceptable to admit "working" (& I use the term loosely) they system, than to dare challange those doing so.
Edited to say I put the bit in about sarahlouise210 being singled out BEFORE I read her post above.
sarahlouise210 has not been singled out, I have quoted at least three people with my posts.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
Is this still going on?
Die, thread, die!0 -
I can't believe the amount of people on here who support blatent "working" of the system. Can I ask if you are tax payers???
I remember someone posted a thread on cars for people on sick benefits a while ago which I believe was pulled. Now while I am sure there are many people who need their cars & couldn't manage without them, the poster questioned whether they really had to be brand spanking new & could they not be a couple of years old.
Someone replied it was not fair to ask people to put a their disabled child or a disable person in a car that was a couple of years old.
WHY..........my daughter is just as precious to me, but I've never been able to afford a brand new car for myself, my husband has one (nearly paid for:beer: - at last) but shes in mine much more. Is my child not just as important, I just don't get sickness benefit:rolleyes: , so I got a banger, a better banger vthan I had last week but still a banger.0 -

She didn't entice. It's just a natural compulsion to defend yourself which sadly doesn't work on message boards as people start chipping in who have no lives and are just out for a cheap thrill.

and as this activity mainly manifests amoungst children there is a children's site here:

Doozergirl, I too read the Au pair thread while it was happening, and it appears just as you say.
I called for calm days ago, but it rumbles on regardless, so I hope you don't mind my campaign to get this thread locked/moved/deleted because it is no longer worthy to be on this forum. Regulars will know that although sometimes abrasive, this is not my usual self, but feel it needs to be done.
As Rosysparkle says, Die thread die!Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -

I am shocked and disappointed at this - re your post above ...can I not defend my own comments and opinions??? I have admitted that it was off topic and the reasons for it.
I really am not a bully (am I allowed to defend myself) I am not harrassing her .... I am just disturbed that it seems acceptable to admit to what she has admitted to over the past few months and that when some of us question it - it is US that are in the wrong!!
I am quite upset by this - especially the comment regarding some of us having real problems being evident. OK..when you have a serious medical condition it can make you more sensitive to those that admit to how you can fake one ..but surely everyone should be outraged by this ???????
Please lets let it drop now - otherwise you are behaving in a way that you are flaming me for.I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes
