Best thing today is....a day off and had the best haircut of my LIFE just done :j and I've gone a subtle blonde too! Popped into work afterwards and the compliments were flowing! Lots of attention on ME!! (to be honest I normally hate that feeling but today was an exception!) I look totally different which is also good cos I hated how I looked before.

Now just got to find some jobs to apply for (getting months notice next friday, dont you love Barclays?! Their favourite word at the moment..REDUNDANCIES)

O, I've gone on a bit, Sorry! :rotfl:

I spent part of this afternoon working in the garden and, out of the blue, my younger son Kyle who is 16 arrived home from school and offered to help. He may only have been out there for 1/2 an hour but finished the heavy stuff that I would have struggled to do because of my back. It looks so much better and has really made my day.

  • Just come out of my "Annual" review (1st one in the 4 years I've been with the company) & my boss has recommended I'm moved onto a higher grade which theoretically means a decent payrise this year.

Managed to do a full day's work, a supermarket shop, make tea.....and I'm still awake! After a week of being so exhausted all I could do was work and sleep, it's lovely to have a bit of energy back!

The best thing that has happened to me today is... going out for lunch with my O/H after spending a busy week been apart and spending time with my D.S before he went out for the evening. :)
