I remembered something else...
I am getting a new improved shiny boiler installed in my flat and it won't cost me a penny because the freeholders and doing building work and the work can't be done with my boiler where it is. So they have to move it at their own expense... and it is too old to be moved so has to be replaced!!!

Hi all,
The best and hardest thing today...... realised I have a problem with on line gamlbling. You easily get sucked in. You find yourself chatting in the rooms, everyone is so friendly and you are having fun. But I took it to far! Put nearly £3500 on credit card gambling. Got a light bulb moment. It's been a scary day. Never realised how bad it really was or maybe I was too scared to find the truth. Now the truth is out there. I've closed my gambling accounts and will go there no more. Feel a bit deflated, ashamed and stupid. But hey..... onwards and upwards xxx
Well done! Must have been a hard day :grouphug:
Great that you stopped now before it got even worse.

Best thing I did today was to get my letter and spreadsheet ready for posting to Nastywest to reclaim my bank charges - its going off tomorrow, recorded delivery. I'm determined I'll get my £1184+ charges back!

Ah sissy - at least like sea says, you have nipped it in the bud now.
I think I have more of an addictive personality than not. That is one reason why I just won't go near the matched betting scene. I just don't want to tempt fate!
Best thing that happened to me today was finding out that a pair of shoes that I ordered online can't be delivered (they were beautiful red gorgeous things). Was really disappointed until the store agreed to give me a more expensive pair for the same price (I have a pair of £75 shoes now for £25!).
What a windfall. And all because I was just a nice customer to the customer services lady.0 -

My day has been rubbish I'm afraid.
Went to hospital as being sick and bad guts for three days and they think I have campylobacter - nasty, nasty stomach bug.
I am off work until the symptoms calm down but I am having to work from home as big exams a week Fri and can't let anything slide.
Can't eat much and feel generally rubbish.
Also my 2nd job is at a pizza shop so I can't go in there at all, but don't get paid for being off sick like I do at my main job.
Only bonus is I'm saving petrol by not commuting 70 miles to work.[STRIKE]GRADUATE LOAN WITH HSBC -[STRIKE]£,5000[/STRIKE] fEB'07[/STRIKE][/STRIKE]JOINT CREDIT CARD WITH BF - £3,000, paying off at £200 pcmNEW BED - £200 0 per cent, paying off at £50 a month[[STRIKE]B]POWERGEN[/B] - outstanding bill £68, to settle March '07[/STRIKE][STRIKE]MY BELOVED MG - £1,500 AT 0 per cent, paying back at £100 pcm[/STRIKE]
