Waking up and realising that I've only got 9 more working days left before I start maternity leave.

It was yesterday - not today - but thought I would share it with you all. I was in the car and hiding amongst the daffodils was a little boy aged about 3 and his dad who was taking photos of him. He was jumping up, bending down, smelling the daffs ....... it was lovely to see. My DD and I just sat in the car and watched - I wondered if they were being taken for a lovely photo/card for his mum for Mother's Day next week - awwwww it was sooooo lovely. :smileyhea
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:

Sounds bad but I can't think of anything good that's happened today. It's been one of those days unfortunately. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better one. Dh has got his driving test!

We bought DS some underpants (he's 2 & 2 months) and his first time in them all day and he's had no accidents and gone on his potty without prompting!! I hope it continues like this, though I doubt it will!

    hi

The best thing today was that OH has finally returned to work! (after 3 months!).

    Hugs to you IA.

The other week I was distracting dd with telling her we were applying for free chocolate online. Filled out the form and pressed send. She waited and then said:
'When is it going to come out of the screem mummy?'!! :D Bless!

  • I've been racking my brains here and I really can't think of anything! It hasn't been a particularly bad day either!

I can say my little boy telling me he loves me and giving me lots of cuddles (but that happens everyday :-) )
