No Buying Unnecessary toiletries in June

Happy Birthday Willowbee, sound like you had a good time. You are always so sweet you really deserve to get out and have some fun.
Weesmiler - hope your knee is on the mend, I have slipped on decking before (my own) in crocs and it is suprisingly dangerous.
Having a funny day today, no children to pick up from school today as one is at a concert and one is having a sleepover (he is only 6 and looked so cute carrying his overnight bag) so my day is a bit longer than normal. So I went into town:eek:. Dangerous for me but what the heck. Went into Bodyshop but just came out with the one item I went in for - a little facial puff for using with facial wash, £2.70 with LYB card. Yay to me for not buying anything else.
Next stop Boots, I have bought another Sally Hansen Double Duty as it is fab, I did my nails Wednesday and I have no chips or peeling at all. It's only £5.25 and my other bottle is only half full as I used to use it as a clear polish rather than what it is meant for. Got a £5 no7 voucher and used it to get a nail polish in Me Me Me, I don't have loads of nail polish so this is fine.
Then I went to our lovely department store in town and bought some yankee candle bits, I did really well as they had lots in the sale, I got 7 tarts, 3 samplers, a crackled and painted glass votive holder and a tart burner for £17.00 ish.
Also went into superdrug and noticed what I think may be a new spa range of products which smell very much like sanctuary but considerably cheaper, 99p for bubble bath and £1.99 for body butter.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Happy Birthday Willowbee!Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -

I'll have a look on their website thanks for the suggestion (unfortunately no John Lewis here).
We still have a whole Turkey just the two of us (plus the dogs). We have given up having Christmas day with relatives as its too stressful and this way we get Christmas our way. We tend to do the family thing on boxing day. People think we're odd having a whole Turkey for just us, but we like it.0 -
Happy birthday willowbee, have a lovely happy day!
Thank you all for the kind wishes, my knee is feeling much better, still sore to touch and quite bruised, but the aches from falling are away.
Going to a wedding tomorrow, got a lovely new monsoon dress on eBay for £9, got it dry-cleaned for £12 and it's like new. Going to have a wander round the shops tonight and maybe treat myself to some new shoes. Will do my ojon hair treatment tonight and microdermabrasion scrub in preparation for looking half decent tomorrow
Rosemary - I am so sorry to hear that you are unhappy. Only you can decide the best thing to do. About 7 years ago, my gran decided to leave my grandad after 56 years. She was 78 and he was 85. They had never had a particularly happy marriage, but were of the generation that didn't divorce. Now she is 85 and he is almost 92, both are keeping in fairly good health and are happy and content on their own. I can only wish you happiness and contentment in whatever you decide. Big hugs xxxxAll you need is less0
