Thank you all for the kind wishes, my knee is feeling much better, still sore to touch and quite bruised, but the aches from falling are away.

Going to a wedding tomorrow, got a lovely new monsoon dress on eBay for £9, got it dry-cleaned for £12 and it's like new. Going to have a wander round the shops tonight and maybe treat myself to some new shoes. Will do my ojon hair treatment tonight and microdermabrasion scrub in preparation for looking half decent tomorrow :)

Rosemary - I am so sorry to hear that you are unhappy. Only you can decide the best thing to do. About 7 years ago, my gran decided to leave my grandad after 56 years. She was 78 and he was 85. They had never had a particularly happy marriage, but were of the generation that didn't divorce. Now she is 85 and he is almost 92, both are keeping in fairly good health and are happy and content on their own. I can only wish you happiness and contentment in whatever you decide. Big hugs xxxx

Glad you're feeling better. Your dress sounds like a total bargain - things I bid on on Ebay always seem to go for a fortune! :)

Wow that was a really brave thing of your Gran to do. Hugs to Rosemary, I hope things really improve for you soon, you seem so nice

Was just thinking none of this post was going to be challenge related but I did have a UU in the shower this morning - L'Oreal Cashmere Balm which is a posh name for the conditioner that comes with my hair colour - talking of which I really must do my roots, they're shocking!! :eek:WBA by default as this is my dye of choice (Excell 10)

We saw Abraham Lincoln Vampire Slayer in 3D which I know sounds a bit cheesy but it was actually really quite good - I liked how they'd mixed fact with fiction. First film I've seen in 3D and I must admit I did jump in a few parts!!

I fancy seeing that too. Not sure we'll get there though. We watched the new remake of Fright Night last week on Sky and I really enjoyed it. David Tennant and Colin Farrell were brilliant. A very good remake.

IGlad to finally use up as it was a freebie with some Avon skincare and I wanted to start my Liz Earle cleanse and polish. I really like the smell of the cleanse and polish, so once I have used my 30ml samples I may buy full size.

I love the smell of C&P as well. The eucalyptus is very uplifting.

    Hi ladies!

Some advice needed on whether or not to count something in my sig or not, please...

Remember I mentioned about using Bio Oil instead of a night cream in my last post? Well, I took considered taking my colleague's advice given that I'm very near the end of my current - and only - night cream. I looked it up to see how much it cost, and blow me down with a feather if Boots weren't having a buy-one-get-one-free on the large Bio Oils, so I got one (or rather, two).

Now I need a new night cream in the near future, so I reckon I shouldn't count it as an 'in' as I do need a new one, but then there was a second one, which was seriously :money: so I should be :T for it, not , but if I do that for everything I could end up with bulging drawers again which goes against the idea of the challenge. (FYI I don't count stocking up on toothpaste, mouthwash etc. in the challenge as the ones I have to use are fairly expensive, so it saves me a fortune over time to do it this way.

Am I just over-analysing this too much? *insert geeky smiley*

If it's going to be eventually used rather than stashed and forgotten I say go for it and buy it when it's on offer.

    Happy birthday Willowbee.

Am nearly there, day 29. Buyapowa have the OPI Minnie Mouse lacquers on sale today but the kit has not gone down by much yet. Don't want to break my no spend run so am going to STEP AWAY FROM THE PC.

Have had a strange day today. got about 2 hours' sleep last night because Emma had stomach ache and crawled into our bed. Left slightly late for work planning to put make up on on the bus. Took make up bag and purse out of bag and left purse on the bus when I got off. Thankfully realised straight away so chased it to the next stop. A woman saw me and said she had given it in to the driver. Just managed to catch the bus before it drove off again. Went back to my bus stop and jumped on next bus thinking that at least I was on my way and knowing I would have to jump off to change buses anyway. Forgot to get off (was reading the messages on this thread). Got off, walked back to second bus stop to see bus go hurtling past. Have spent all day feeling totally jiggered. And worst thing is I have to go into work tomorrow.
