Yeah, for me too. I bought chicken at £4.50 (90p off), mash at £2 (40p off), veg selection at £2.50 (50p off). So should have got £1.80 off, but I actually got £1.89 off.
I bought the Fiano, but didn't realise it was only food in the 20%, as I thought maybe it was £1.39 off for the Fiano and maybe only the veg worked giving me £1.89 otherwise I can't get it to add up .
meanmum - can you share what you bought please as you seem to have done better than me. I guess it's better to buy more expensive main courses - assuming that the 20% off does actually come off the main course!0 -
I bought the beef in red wine (£6 I think), sponge puddings and spinach. The more expensive the food, the more the discount will be. I can't see how I could have done better.0

Apparently, it's giving 21% off instead of 20%. Another typical example of Tesco not managing it get something right!0
-
Yes, 21% for me. I guess they must have set the computer at that to avoid any rounding errors & people complaining they hadn't got the full 20%. As if we would0

I bought the Tesco Finest meal deal today with a few other items and was expecting my bill to be around £15 - £20. I got charged £32. I paid for the items then checked my receipt before going to customer services.
I was disappointed to notice that the 20% discount was no longer coming off the finest food. All the signs were down in store but was hoping i'd be lucky and get some more bargains before the offer ended.
The discount for the meal deal @ £10 wasn't coming off either. I bought chunky chips £2.50, New York Cheesecake £2.09, Chicken Kiev's £5.50 & Nero Red £6.99. In total I was charged £17.08 and received a refund for £14.16. So I actually paid £2.92 for the meal deal. Wish I bought more now. Might have to visit another Tesco store later.0 -
Grrr. Fiano not matching today! How can they be this inconsistent!0

Was this Fiano bought on the 4th? There's nothing I can do about it not matching anyway, is there? As they seem to be a law unto themselves.......0
-
Has anyone had any luck complaining? Lots of folk on fb complaining about items not matching :mad:Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
I bought over £50 of food and the pricecheck has come back with nothing matched - every item is N/A. Same for my daughter. It's 5 o'clock somewhere!0
