Thanks, Eviesdad. I wouldn't have seen this if it had been tucked away on the Food & Grocery board.

i have just got back from tesco, bought 2 meal deals,
finest breaded chicken for the kids, beef and tomato for me and hubbie(these are lovely & tasty quite expense at £6 but not bad when part of the m/d) 2 chunky chips, and the orange tarts x2 got the rose wine as i like a sweet one,and the whites can sometimes be a little too dry for my taste, knocked an extra £4.50ish of for the 20%, so £15.50 for the 2 deals cant be bad :D

    thank you eviesdad :T

Not bad, but if you can trade the red or keep it for those last minute presents you should get a price check voucher back. Tricky though as at least you have been good a purchased a wine that you like, unless that compares too??????
    I will await your update.

Also I did say it would get moved ha ha.

The wow factor is too high for shopping section, I don't like to be a big head but the other shopping topics are all trying to leave now and go to the freebie thread!!

My experience of this deal was even better.

I bought the tesco finest ciano white, chicken kievs, chunky chips and GU white chocolate brownie things.

    What I should have been charged was £10 - 20% = £8

I was charged full price of £18.50 ish minus 20% of £1.68

This led to much arguing with customer services, who tried to tell me that the meal deal was not on, didn't help that they had a huge poster up advertising it.

Anyway long story short they have refunded me what I thought was double the difference and given me back £13.60.

If was only when I got home that I realised that the actual over charge was £10.50 so I should have been refunded £21.

I will be continuing my discussion on the phone with customer services in the morning. Hope that makes sense.

    I love you.
I was secretly hoping that as all the posters said 20% of all finest that the meal deal would be missed, but as it worked for me and took off over the 20% plus will get jtd on my wine I can't moan.

Come on everyone let's go meal deal shopping this weekend together, not as if much else is going on.
