Hi just got my jtd back on the Nero and the black tower minis, just under £7.

Just looked at asda website. The Nero wine looks as if up to £6.98

Ok don't know if that happened overnight but I got the same old Nero D Avola 5051277602263 yesterday and came back fine today.
This is the one previously mentioned that has worked for a while.

No I didn't use self scan

Just worked for me. Note it's only 20% off the food part of the meal deal, not the wine (hey, that would be just too good wouldn't it!) So ended up with a meal deal for just under £8.
I managed to get a Finest beef joint too, on at "half price" of £5.98/kg (although oddly, shelf was marked at £5.49/kg?) which I then got 20% off together with a voucher sent in my clubcard mailing of £2 off Finest beef. Bargain.

My experience of this deal was even better.

I bought the tesco finest ciano white, chicken kievs, chunky chips and GU white chocolate brownie things.

    What I should have been charged was £10 - 20% = £8

I was charged full price of £18.50 ish minus 20% of £1.68

This led to much arguing with customer services, who tried to tell me that the meal deal was not on, didn't help that they had a huge poster up advertising it.

Anyway long story short they have refunded me what I thought was double the difference and given me back £13.60.

If was only when I got home that I realised that the actual over charge was £10.50 so I should have been refunded £21.

I will be continuing my discussion on the phone with customer services in the morning. Hope that makes sense.

Can you confirm the Fiano gave you a JTD please? It would appear to on mysupermarket, but wouldn't mind confirmation please?

How did you get on with customer services?

Also, is this still working today, anyone know yet? That £5 off wys £40 burning a hole in my pocket now!

PS, yes found you now, eviesdad - thanks for the PM!

Got the Fiano as part of the meal deal yesterday and JTD ok, but didn't get 20% off all the items in the meal deal - working it out from the maths, I got 20% off the Fiano & 20% off the veg selection, but not off the chicken or the creamy mash. (I usually get 2 sides rather than desserts, unless the Gu are in the offer).

    1 x COMFORT FAB COND T/CAL BURST 750ML £ 1.99 £ 1.00
    1 x INNOCENT ORANGE JUICE WITH BITS 900ML £ 2.18 £ 1.00
    1 x TESCO FINEST FIANO 75CL £ 6.99 £ 5.00
    1 x PRINCES TUNA CHUNKS IN BRINE 4X185 £6.99 £4.00

The Fiano price matched for me yesterday, £1.99 JTD.
Did 2 meal deals with Fiano today, worked out at £15.17, which was slightly more than 20% off the food element, so goodness knows how they work it out! I'm not complaining though, hopefully will get £4 JTD back on this, so around £5.60 per meal deal. Not worth cooking at that.......
