I thought there was only one facebook selling page in my area and I gave it a try without much success. This morning I have discovered there are several which are nearer to me so will give them a try when I get some more time. Just can't seem to fit much into each day at the moment.

    Thanks Rosie :)

Aww, Dedicated DFW :(... you have just described me perfectly, lol! I am terrible for buying little treats to cheer myself up, and I definitely have a bit of weight to lose... hence many clothes shopping trips to try and make me feel better about myself :o I can definitely relate to the odd combinations for tea too, lol!

There are a few weight loss threads on MSE, I love this one... https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3801635 everyone is really lovely and helpful. Moneyspider has also created this fab thread... https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3838559 where we aim to get fit, debt free, and sparkle! It's not technically about weight loss... but there are quite a few of us aiming to lose weight on there as well, and again, everyone is lovely and helpful :D Definitely have a look around and join in somewhere, it really does help to have a support network when trying to lose weight :)

lolly - thank you so much for posting - subscribed to the threads so i can have a look later :) I've just ordered a food flask with vouchers too - got to be better than eating bread every day - i hope so anyways :)

Well done dedicateddfw on getting your 1k already! We have a few things lined up this week that should take us to 395 more needed. Lots ebaying to do! Will do what I can then top the rest up with profits from the b2s eBay!

Ta Natterjack - i also find doing storecupboard challenge type things help - what i save on the shopping budget goes straight to the debt! I really need to list more things on the bay of e too - just got to find stuff to part with and get it on there x

Adding £2.00 from a facebook sale, an item I sold for £5 on ebay should be collected and paid for later so hopefully I will be able to add that too along with my £6 lottery win when I collect it.
    Next- £486.25 Barclaycard £600

I have a diamond ring too :( don't want to part with it but don't wan to keep it either! I'm going to stick it out and save it for eBay at Xmas/ valentines day. It's worth £1300 so don't want to sell it for nothing. Then again I might keep it until it becomes more valuable, I sold an engagement ring on there a year ago, worth £1000 but only fetched £200.

    I've been engaged a few times :D

    Afternoon

Just a few things to add. I found £1 of coppers to pay in, two small eb*y sales (I like the sound of the bay of e!), £1.02 on the As*a thing and 7p interest which I might as well add.

This gives me £29.18 for June which is also going to be my new present fund total as I am going to have to rob it again. I've just bought DD1 a new laptop as her other has finally given up the ghost (after over 3 years which I don't think is too bad) but this is what this fund is for.

From now on, though, I will be saving for the celebration that shall not be named (yet) and won't take any more out.

    Hope everybody is doing well.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

£17 profit from a matched bet (well, about £9 from a matched bet, and £8 from doing a bet wrong and accidentally placing a genuine bet because I forgot to tick the right box and use my free bonus, but thought I'd leave it and chance it as a straightforward £5 bet, and luckily I won :D )

cheers Aesop & nat21. I have the ring resized twice & they cut the hallmarks off.,.. so not sure I want to ebay it.... I will take it to the pawn shop again, but I think they only offered £126 last time. Has anybody had any luck at Hatton garden?
