  • Sorry I'm a bit late joining. I'm going to do the challenge a bit different if that's ok? We want to pay 1k a month off debt for the next 4 months, so we're doing everything we can to do it. So far this month:
Not spending money on carp: £250 (took It out at beginning of month so can't spend it!)
£50 from eBay b2s profits (rest has been reinvested)
£310 from selling laptop, hard drive etc etc

    So we're on £560/£1000!

Plans for the rest of month is to sell sell sell! I get the impression with fb selling groups that everyone is selling and no one is buying! Want to do car boots but wasn't ready yesterday then this weekend is ohs first fathers day, so hopefully weather is good the week after! As that's the only one we can do as its ds first birthday the week after that! Got £30 in the pipeline for selling iPod too!
    £20 a day April 2014 £834.87/£600 :j
    £20 a day May 2014 £108.45/£600

Natterjack, the FB groups I belong sell really well! My stuff doesn't, but I think I price it too high. But have seen battles on FB for stuff.

And when I went to collect some stuff from a lady, 2 other buyers turned up as well! It did help she was lovely, friendly offered tea and coffee and we had a natter as well.

Wow, if i could have a week like this every week i would be so happy, checked bank account this morning and found a payment in for £111 20, that i wasnt expecting. upon investigation i find that i have been given a back dated increase in travel expenses and this is the back date payment so not only a nice lump sum but more money every month from here on in. Yippee, if i had not joined this challenge i would never have realized how much extra this has all come to this month as it would have been frittered away instead of recorded and squirreled away for a rainy day.

Looking at the total i should have had the guts to aim high and go for £10 per day after all as with my e bay sales ( not added yet as they don't finish until tomorrow) i am going to make £310 by next week.

Lots and lots of good luck for your exam Lolly - sounds like you've worked hard for it, so I'm sure it will pay off for you.

    I've just realised that my

... :rotfl: just come back to the computer and found that I was halfway through writing this message - and have no idea now what I was going to write :o:D
Really bugging me now that I cannot remember at all what I had just realised :rotfl:
Will have a read back up the page in case it was something that jogged my memory.

Fairy - we would do that, with regards to the bootfair situation, but it's a bit in the middle of no where, well, not really, but it's not that easy to walk to it or to get anywhere from it without the car. And obviously as it's a really busy one, he couldn't really get the car out once it was in place - like we couldn't unload then just me stay with the stuff and him go off in the car. Plus with 2 car seats and 2 children, and a pushchair in the car, it leaves much less space for all our treasures to take to sell!!
Will have to see - I'm sure my in laws won't mind having the boys for a morning - but I just don't like to ask. I might start getting things ready as if we are going to do one, and then we can see whether we can fit in enough to make it worthwhile, then we could take it in turns walking them around the fields, maybe take a football and OH and DS1 could have a little play at the edge of the field when DS2 is asleep in the pushchair, or get him some chips from one of the little stalls that have tables and chairs outside.
Hate not being able to blooming well drive!

Now what the heck did I 'just realise' earlier... :D

    Hey Everyone! :j

I'm free! It's so good not to have my exam looming over me! Thanks for the well wishes Nat :), Fairy :), Nicky :), Aesop :), Monkeynut :) and Rosie :)... I think they worked, lol - they actually gave me essays titles for the things I knew, rather than the things I didn't!!!!! :T

I've definitely passed, but really have no idea what kind of mark to expect, I can't even remember half of the things I put, so will have to wait til the end of July to find out. I've still got theories, perspectives, names, and dates running around in my head, so I'm now having a well deserved drink to forget it all, lol!

Aesop, the Elton concert was fab, I really wish I could have made it - My DS1 ended up taking my place, he loved it and brought back loads of vids and pics. The only thing he was a little disappointed with was the lack of costume changes, well - glasses changes, lol. Although that was only because my mum got to see inside Elton's dressing room, and counted 54 pairs!!!!!
