Busy Busy Nat!!
Will your Dad help you out with the petrol costs a little bit though maybe?
You seem to be doing really well selling on Facebook - what's your secret, as mine seems to have dried up a bit.
Are you selling stuff nice and cheap? I think my problem is I'm trying to get just that little bit too much for things, which I shouldn't really as I've got such fab bargains myself on there, so I should just put stuff nice and cheap to be rid of it.
Really just should do a bootfair, but it's difficult as it's DH that drives, but I wouldn't want to let him go without me as he'd end up giving stuff away so he didn't have to bring it home. I know lots of people do this at the end of bootfairs, but he'd do it at the start knowing him so he could go to the Burger King across the road instead
But taking 2 small children isn't really helpful either! So it's a right old carry on to get them to grandparents so early, and get the car packed up - which we probably can't do the night before as everything might not fit in until car seats are out, so would have to take the kids away first! Which means we won't get there as early and it's just a lot of faffing around, and I don't like to ask someone to have the children from the crack of dawn on a Sunday.
Unless I can just bring myself to send OH off on his own..:eek::rotfl:Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Hey Everyone,
Eek, big day today! Got my exam this afternoonReally dreading it. I've been revising all weekend (still am, just having a little break, lol. Cramming seems to work for me), but I keep having phases when my mind goes completely blank! Fingers crossed it doesn't happen later...
Ooh, and footie today! So even if my mind does go blank I can leave early and might make it back in time for the match, lol... every cloud has a silver lining!
Nothing to add, but we've been sorting out the house so have lots of stuff to ebay. Will be getting on with that, and getting back into things properly once this exam is out of the way.0 -
He's giving me a car full of eBay stuff and wants me to take a chunk. Whilst I'm happy to do this I'm not happy that it's going to clutter up my house, I have nowhere to put it but my bedroom
RE Facebook sales, I just keep posting items until they sell! The prices are pretty much what id get on eBay for them put without the postage hassle. I post a picture on a sell site, tag it with 14 other sell sites I'm 'friends' with and post it twice a day until it sells. I offer to deliver locally if needed and say its from a smoke and pet free home. It's not good stuff I'm selling, it's stuff that didn't sell at a car boot!£20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0 -
