This challenge came to me while getting dressed this morning.
Looking in the mirror i thought to myself, What the hell has happened to me  lol

Yes my debts get me down most of the time, but i have allowed myself to get dragged down too.

I've lost my Sparkle and its time to get it back :T

The main purpose of the challenge is to tackle our debts while looking and feeling a Million dollars doing it :D

Using freebies, frugal tips, sharing tips and commiting to looking after ourselves and not just our pennies.

Feel free to join me and get ready to Sparkle :smileyhea

  • First up my plan for the day :

Half an hour catching up on the boards with a cuppa :coffee:
while the first wash of the day is in the washer.

Its a nice day here, although a little nippy, will leave washing to dry on the line and take myself and the dog for a walk to get some fresh air and some sunshine on my face :)

Hoping for a free listing day email tomorrow so will sort out Ebay items and get them scheduled and ready to go!
This will also give the the chance to have a bit sort out!

Already checked online banking :( and emails

This sounds perfect, I've got to join you! :D :j :D

I definitely need to start looking after myself more. I've been trying to do at least 30 mins on the wii (Just Dance 2 & 3), and 10+ mins on the power plate each day - I started well, but have been slipping a bit lately, so hopefully you guys can keep me on track :D ... and give me a kick up the bum every now and again, lol :p.

I also need to get back into a beauty routine as I've barely give myself time to wash my face these days (I rely on cleansing wipes way too often :o)! I'm thinking that I'll aim to give myself 5-10 minutes a day to do some pampering :D.

That's a start, will add to it later.

I've got to get on with an assignment today so will spend most of the day sat on my bum :(, but will definitely do my exercise later, and will spend a bit of time on my face - cleanse, exfoliate, mask, moisturise :)

Thanks for this, am trying to turn myself around this year. Lots of big plans :D so need to start working on them.

Yesterday I was just thinking when I used to go to work pre DS, I wore lovely jewellery, not expensive stuff, just lovely stuff, and complemented my clothes. everyone used to talk about my necklaces and stuff, I don't wear any of it anymore.

so would like to start wearing jewellery again and nice clothes, etc

I need to lose weight for me, not anyone else, for my health etc. Since we moved from our last place, I don't own a pair of trainers, as my last pair got mouldy from the last place  so need to sort some out.

am debating whether or not to get zumba dvd or shred  have a wii fit but by the time DS goes to bed, I do not feel like exercising.

So maybe early nights and early mornings for exercising?

I am definately going to join in on this one. I walked to work on Tuesday because I had no petrol and although it took me a while I felt so good for doing it.
I'm not going to do it once a week so not only will I be feeling good about myself I'll be saving money too!

I too need to get into a beauty regime because my skin is feeling terrible. I want to cut out the fizzy drinks and drink more water.

  • I'm doing the 30day shred with Jillian somebody. Enjoying it cos 20minutes a day.....i am terrible at exercise!
Had a free hair cut yesterday and bought some perfume with a refund card.
But also need to focus on skincare routine for as cheap as possible cos that is severely lacking.

Aesop - If it's mainly weight loss you're after then I'd go with Zumba as it's very energetic and burns a lot of cals, If you want to lose a bit of weight but tone up as well, then I'd say go for Shred as it works your muscles more :).

    Wooooo Ladies Welcome:T

I have the Jillian Micheals 30 day shred dvd, its great 20 mins a day ~ but its a tough 20mins if you haven't exercised for a while!
£5 in tescos last time i looked, but check ebay ect first might get a real bargain if its only retailing at a fiver.

I think the wii fit is pretty good to get started with because you can get moving and have a bit of fun at the same time, if the kids are old enough challenge them to a dance off, or play some games. Not only gets you off the sette and moving but can be great fun and good for a change routine therefore good for the mind too :)

The nestle green banner offer is pretty good, every code is a winner, "boobie" prizes are a free swim or 5 day gym pass...so perfect for us!
look for the offer on nestle products with the thick green banners

Skin care is a down fall for me, ive loads of potions and lotions sat in a draw upstairs but never think to use them, i think it because we dont really go anywhere special, have nights out and get dressed up anymore, tend to live in jeans and t shirts these days.....lol...just wandered off into a day dream of the OH coming home from work and me being "done up" instead of having crazy hair and pjs on :rotfl:
