Count me in too, I desperately need some Sparkle. Although as my hairdresser refers to any greys as Sparkle, maybe I need less. :p

Anyway I'm 26lbs overweight and £7298 in debt, so lets get to it!!!

First I'm gonna get the last of that stuff on to ebay, whilst listening to Bon Jovi. _party_

  • I thought that if I wiped the dust away in the bathroom, so that it is a nicer place to be, that might help wipe the dust away from myself lol.

I like the sound of that, I'm up for that, wipe it all away.

Well not much on the excersise front but I have made a start by having all my haircut off. I have,'t had it this short for donkeys years but it is naturally curly so easier to manage and also easier to colour.
I even put some lippy and perfume on to go to the hairdressers.
Tomorrow weather permitting I am planning on doing some gardening so I suppose thats excersise.
    Have a great weekend everyone.

The diet starts tomorrow, I've always found the weekend the easiest time of the week to start. If you go over the calories, you have the week to be stricter to bring yourself back on track. I don't know why but I find I eat less Monday to Friday!

I don't think I'm sparkling, but I am wearing moisturiser, I have loads of samples I've blagged from the beauty counters and I'm using them up and not buying any new ones until I really haven't got any left.

I get exercise most day, as I ride. However, I think I need to up it a bit. I have a pedometer on my phone, that would work.....

  • One thing I have always done is wear moisturizer. Don't know if its worked but for my age Ive not many wrinkles...........think the fat has stretched them out :rotfl:

Had my bubble bath, with candles and music, Now got sugar free pop ( that's fizzy juice to those of you who don't live in the north east) NOOOO wine. Saved on the £s and the lbs on that one.

Hey everyone!!! Is it ok if I gatecrash this thread too? Am trying to get in shape for Summer also... I have a gym membership sat there doing sweet F.A!!!

I had developed a scheme where each month i put aside £20 say. I designed a loyalty card (i have WAY too much time on my hands!) so that each time i visit the gym (and exercise - not just perv at sweaty men lol) I tick a box... when i fill the card (10 boxes) i get the reward.

If the 'reward money' goes unclaimed at the end of the month it just goes off one of my debts... That said - I then thought - but that's better in some ways - it means by exercising am staying in debt longer... which feels wrong... Equally - if i just pay myself out of my normal spending money - that feels like am doing all that work for money i would have already had :-<

Definitely like the idea of being paid for going ha ha... not sure how to do it though...

At any rate - i want to get back to 3 times/week... but will start aiming for 2/week... and maybe get out my Reebok Step and dreaded exercise DVD also... :-$

  • Can I join too??

I'm nodding along reading most of the posts, I could've written half of them! I've put myself on the back burner for long enough now. My 2 boys need their haircut again and I've just realised its the 3rd time they've had theirs done since mine was done  (and they don't get theirs done that often either). I too have stopped wearing jewellery etc without even realising and got knows when my legs last saw a razor:o

Need to get cracking. DH will probably think I'm having an affair or something :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Exercise has been mostly walking today and housework. Did spend longer in the bathroom this morning on my hair skin and teeth though. Will have to sort through my creams and potions tomorrow to see what i have.

Well I had some really bad news at work today so I treated myself. It meant spending money but I bought myself a glass of wine a pizza and some chocolate..

Tomorrow will go back to not spending anything and get back on track. I'm going to get up early enough to do my hair nicely before another long shift at work!

I was thinking this too earlier when I was in the bath!!
Thought about whoever it was that said about their kids noticing hair and jewellery on the school run (sorry, I always forget who said what!).

I've had a nice long bath, and blow dried my hair which I hardly do since having kids as it's usually jump in and out the shower then straight to busy doing something else. It's amazing how something so simple can make me feel so much better.
Had a nice cleanse, exfoliate and mask on my face, and even used conditioner and a treatment on my hair rather than just a quick dollop of shampoo!:o
