There are plenty of things in life we have to do that we can't stand.

I try to do everything to the best of my ability. You'll always regret it if you don't!

You can try your best but if you are not suited to something you are not going to get top grades are you?

and if you spend every waking minute on here rather than actually doing some work on your degree, then there's no hope of getting high grades

I do work and do complete all my work.

You are lucky that you had a natural skill for good marks and that does make life a lot easier on a degree.

I do think you do miss the point that you are almost all gifted 1st class honours holders and so study is easy and fun and natural for you, but when you are like me and you hate almost every minute of your course that it is a lot harder to do things.

it's not about having a natural skill - if you spent 3 hours a night concentrating on work, you would find it much easier to do well. but you don't want to - you want to complain and find excuses and are happy to settle to do badly without putting in 100% effort to see what you could do first.

plenty of people get good marks by sheer hard work - i went from a (low!) 2:2 in my first year to a 1:1 in my finals so just stop sitting there acting as if there's nothing you can do to improve the situation - there is lots that you could do and many options have been spelt out for you by other people. you're not going to get the top mark in your year, but you can do plenty to try and get better marks.

YOU chose to do your course, no matter how much advice you were given. YOU chose not to change courses when it was very clear you weren't suited to it. YOU are choosing to spend time on here that would be better spent reading about your course. all you seem to want is for people to tell you that it's not your fault - well you are where you are because of decisions you made. and lots of people are in the same position but they just get on with it. you can make the best of it and show some attempt at a positive attitude or you can continue to find a million and one reasons why it's the university's fault that you're not doing well.

it's all about the victim mentality that you can't or don't want to shift. you have been playing the same record for months - sympathy and advice made no difference previously, reality checks don't work either. how do you expect people to react to your posts every time?!

I am doing the best I can to survive at a place I do not fit in and I am not suited to. I am suffering for my bad choices and all I can do is survive that suffering.

I do keep up with my work and do it all and I work hard on my asessments and that allows me to survive the course.

I think 3 years of surviving without going mad has shown a huge degree of resistant on my part.

Everytime I pick up one of these unreadable articles I just come to know that I am useless as it dpresses me and upsets me that I can not understand it.
I have tried going to my lecturers for help and they do not see any issues as I am getting average marks in some modules.

Maybe I could help myself more by reading more (but that upsets me more and makes me worse as I dont get it), but I am so worn out with battling and surviving that my reserves of strength are getting low.

I am shattered from it and all the negative feelings university gives me.
I know I am a pain to you here and I am sorry about that!
