Check the wine aisle. I walked out with 12 bottles of cape peak Shiraz

SEL was 3.99 scanned through at 8.99.
    Bar code is 6 001108 06385

Mr T paid me £1.01 to take them away. Plus I still got the discount for buying 12 bottles.

2000 offers/prices changed here at midnight . so pray for lazy/understaffed shops

also looking for more advice . i have dtd a few times now and know how to handle staff trying to flog me off
but if a product is marked at say 1 pound and the sel says a 100gram bag
but really its a 75g bag for a pound how i stand on dtd ?
    dtd by weight ?
    advice welcome
I have twice been given DTD back when the wrong item has been put infront of an SEL. It wouldn't be wise to take all off the shelf as you then have no proof that the item was put infront of the SEL. Hth:)

Have been reading with great interest about double the difference and scanning aisles just to see a mix up. Planned to go this morning knowing it was change over day......

Ok its not great I shall admit but saw 4 tubes of smarties down to £1 end date was yesterday full price £1.74.... saw an opportunity grabbed 5 packs incase! Sis grabbed 4. Get to till sure enough go through £1.74. head to CS who check the aisle and say no it says full price! I got quite angry at this knowing it said £1.00! 10 mins later she comes back after speaking to 4 ladies changing labels and apologises after i demanded to see the store manager! she had looked in the wrong place and it did say £1. (also stocked on same aisle all the rocky choccy bars down to £80p or so half price end date yesterday picked up 5 but they scanned at half price! :o)

Double the difference back didn't even need to remind them about it, got £1.48 back cash per pack so paid £1.30 or so for 20 tubes of smarties walking out with £7 or so!

Only wish it was something bigger and better but still for my first try im pleased!! So is my 2 year old! :j
Well done on your first attempt, as they say every little helps:D

My friend had managed to get 6 bottles of the same wine from a north London branch.

Keep an eye out for boxes of finish quantum all in one original 39s.
I found a lot in a cardboard display box at the end of an aisle. It had a picture of the product with £5 next to it
They scanned through at £10.20. I walked the CS lady over and showed her the display picture and duty manager (who happened to be passing) agreed with me !
I got paid to take away 5 boxes !!

I love this type of shopping !

Always take them to where you collected the items. It eliminates any confusion and "missing" tickets.

I was wondering this myself as the fruit pastilles show a pack of 5 on the lable yet now come in packs of 4. Also the same on a few of the multi pack s of chocolate, label is old size but yet still pay same for tube less. I put them down as I didn't know where I stood on it and was running late so didn't have time to argue or go through it.
    Does anyone know?
A happy wife, and mum to 2 lovely little boys :j

I actually had this issue with the breakaway chocolate bars. SEL said 9 pack £1.00 but i was charged £1.00 for a pack of 8. Went to customer services who offered to refund the product but no DTD as wasn't actually overcharged (which i disagreed with!) Went home and called customer services who agreed that it was an error and they refunded the items which i got to keep but can't guarantee that will happen every time. In short i am not sure it is worth the hassle although the gift card & free chocolates helped a bit ;)

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper Combo Breaker
Managed to get 3 bottles of the Cape Chardonnay Wine and 2 boxes of the Dishwasher Tabs. (thanks UKMark)

Could have got more but didn't want to take the P tbh.

SEL removed for both... shame they didn't remove it for the Shiraz and Shiraz Rose two shelves below though - might pay another trip tomorrow ;)
