I have looked through the thread but not spotted oils which are reduced

I DIDN'T buy the chilli flavoured oil (SEL RTC) but did buy stir fry oil RTC - 46p
(Asda's Own, flavoured olive oils, glass jar, looks expensive;)

and the REASON I was in asda was this thread

also check the herbs (Again ASDA's own)

    I bought sage 18p cumin 15p cloves 30p and nutmeg 24p

also found packs of 4 birthday gift tags (2 different design sets) 2p a set

    yes 2p

yup Myrtle that's them - the one I bought had a 2013 expiry so they would be good for a 'gourmet' xmas hamper or two

I want to go back - I forgot to look for the conserve!
(Hope I've replied where you wanted - I'll delete if not)

  • I went to Asda Aintree yesterday (nr Liverpool) and they had the Carnation desserts for 8p, the raspberry flavouring for 10p and the breakfast topper for 45p but I couldn't find anything else. I didn't try to get anything scanned in case it scanned cheaper but the whole earth spread was marked at 75p and the Angel delight type things were all 30p+. There were no vanilla pods, easy melt chocolate things or the decorations on the shelves.

Now that all the things are listed (thanks MT!) then I might print it off and go again tomorrow and have a good scout round.

  • Hi,

Had a quick scan through and don't think these have been mentioned yet.

    Fiddes Payne Saffron 0.5g 66p (was £2.89)
Crespo Pitted Green Olives 430g 30p (I can see the black olives are on the first page)
