Hello, after a bit of advice.
lost my iphone 3g 16GB, insured with lloyds tsb, so put a claim in.
3 weeks later they have taken my £100 excess payment, and have just told me they have non in stock and offered me £200. Now i refused this, and was told that they cannot guarantee i`d get £200 the next time i rang as it depends on the market price on the day.
Obviously its an old phone, but i cannot replace it for £100 (remember the other £100 i paid them for excess payment).
i was hoping for a replacement.
Any advice?
Alison

Well thinking about it. 100 excess + £200 = around 300 which is more than the value of an iPhone 3G.0

they offered me £200, they have already taken the £100 excess, so i`d only gain £100 towards the phone.

Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Thats not the point...The excess is you paying part towards it basically.0 -

thank you for taking the time to look for these for me, but i`m not sure about buying a mobile off ebay, would prefer a shop.

Is it worth my waiting a few days, just to see if my insurers get an iphone in stock?

this is quite worrying for me I have just had mine stolen and put a claim in. I was quite shocked when they told me they could replace it with a refurb! where r you at with this at the moment?HOW MUCH ?0

Was you phone brand new when it was lost? I suspect it was used so a refurbished unit is a fair replacement. Thats the way most insurance works.0
