i wash my hair with water and no shampoo or anything, and style it by wiping my hand over it a couple of times to make it all vaguely lie in the same direction. it works fine. i recommend it.

haha, my dad used to wash his hair with fairy liquid or Vosene which pretty much looks like the same thing!

My hair can fro, so can dh's, when it's longer. :D

Rememeber as they get older girls do stuff which damages hair. Girls with ac hair or curls more than most. It's really important to try and nuture the love for natural hair IMO. It saves a lot of heartache, and for many girls at least, hair is 'us'. Bad hair days, rapunzel, crowning glory....these are all phrases for a reason. If you like your natural hair you can pretty much feel ok about who you are 'culturally'.

I decided to shave my hair off literally. A random moment in my pregnancy where I wanted to feel empowered....:rotfl:I have kept the hairstyle ever since.

That's brave! It looks beautiful if you have a nice shaped head.

I dunno, because I cannot see the back of mine, but I suspect it's flat.

When I started these new pills I was warned that hair loss was a side effect, it hasn't happened and I feel tremendously relieved about that.

I did have alopecia for some time before, because the head was swollen and circulation is not good and the hair was shedding rather than grow I think, and the thyroid business. But while it's thinner than it was, its not 'abnormal' and it's healthy (well, as healthy as something dead can be) and long.

I did have a revelation this summer when we lost the bath and got a shower, how much better that is for hair too.

    Are you ok?

I am knackered but the diggle doggies tell me they are not ready for 'widdly wee' and 'bedtime biscuit'.

I don't know how I end up taking to my animals like they are infants. For goodness sake, why I trained them to 'widdly wee' instead of 'urinate' I don't know.

Work of the devil. You should make fingerprint cookies/buns. I remember making them when I was at school and aged about 8-9.

Anything is funny after five whiskeys! Happy birthday early!

But it's widdly wee, not widdle wee. Then they sit down and have 'bedtime biscuit' and bedtime 'give me kisses' then they are told to 'settle down, I'll see you in the morning'. The routine gives then comfort, and they know the biscuit means they arte going to be alone a while. Very, very occasionally they get 'day time biscuit' in the same routine which also means, so you in a long Time.

They like to know you see.:D
