Nice people who know the rates wreck might remember the utility room....it's now gone, revealing the whole of the kitchen wall. By heck, it looks Bigger. (and quite beautiful). What I will never get used to is how much impact this sort of thing has on light. Light is now flooding in to the hitherto gloomy temporary kitchen.0

In fact, I would have thought you'd like it, its about correct use of language...and you have such a keen eye for that sort of thing.
I never get should have or loose/ lose or bought/ brought wrong, but sometimes confuse less/fewer. A lot of my first school teachers had welsh as their first language that may explain it (but may not).I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I have a young sounding voice. People are often surprised when the see me in the flesh - for all the wrong reasons!
OH has a young looking face, he is also thin, people knock at the door and ask him if his father is home, which amuses him greatly.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Wow!
I think it's not unusual for men to age better than women at first, but then for us to do better in the long run. My mother is older than my father, and always looked it until a few years ago and now looks about ten years younger than him. IMO.
My neighbour is in his seventies, but I thought he was in his fifties. He rides his horse every day, and three/ four days a week through winter follows the hunt on foot (cery occasionaly ripdes, but last year his wife said no more as she is worried he is getting doddery and more likely to have an accident....but he is NOT doddey!)so a few hours walking, climbing over fences etc. the impact of regular exercise on aging seems pretty clear in cases like his.0 -
Some people do have very subtle 'indications' my husband told me when he first met he was part Italian and had been educated there, but I just 'knew' he was Jewish. (and no, he doesn't have a name that Shreiked it at me).
When we bought our first flat the sellers (jewish) told us they had thought we were the only people who looked at it that weren't jewish. A plus in their eyes because they could then take their mezuzahs ( little prayer boxes on door posts, google for more info) with them, then they met our parents (who insisted on looking round before exchange) and it dawned on them they had made a mistake.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
