Do they have seats on the train?
(Actually I get on at Blackfriars now and almost always get a seat on the way home, it is just on the way in that they are like hens teeth).chewmylegoff wrote: »As normal the other train passengers are playing a game of "who can leave their bag on the seat next to them the longest chicken". Hi, Pastures and Silver, I just wanted you to know that rather than posting something then deleting it, I simply decided not to post it.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Hmm, nothing to it, then.
My main point is that NPs shouldn't try to discourage LIR from having this treatment. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Not that I know anything...
But - it's a major decision, which can only be taken after some sleep ...and probably a big spoon of that tiramisu....0 -

Pastures - would you consider buying a caravan? Do you need to regain your privacy to reduce your fears about being identified?
Small space living, no sharing, smoke if you want to, park it on a small site near where you want to end up.
I think it no wonder you describe your 'head' in terms of being not in the right place. I would have totally lost the plot by now with such continual change and no sign of stability.0 -
Sorry if I upset you. Yes, I realised that you would be having CSF drained. My point is that these procedures often seem worse in advance than they turn out to be. Having a local in my tongue, a bit cut out, and stitches - I almost had to be dragged in for the procedure. In practice, the surgeon knew what he was doing, and it was all a tenth as bad as I had imagined.
Its ok, you did not upset me, and i agree, things seem worse in advance!
But i really hve never been worried about procedures generally, i am more curious than fearful, i find bodies amazing, and like seeing how things are done. I have vet nursed for my own pets and done some other fairly gruesome things.
I am worried a. It about the cleanliness record of this hospital, and infection history, that i have been mislead about a couple of things. (clinical) and in context of the general farting about..things like the you must never have lp, v you MUSt have it......thats not admin f ups, thats just medical confusion.
I am 'highly strung' but i am also Curious and nobody wants me to be better more than i do!
Must, things just do not right for me atm. I might feel differently in the future, i will not be stubborn for its own sake, but i do think i want not ti forge ahead while i have misgivings. Its not a growth or a tumour or a cancer and i have no current eyesight loss, so....i feel less rushed.
Part of the problem with the 'emotion' off it is they have had me on 'hard boil' with this urgent thing for too long with nothing actually happening. Its exhausting!0
