Dh is early in the production process of an album that he knows has a small niche market atm and one of the possibilities on the table is to release only digitally and as a limited edition lp.(the value for collectors only in the liner notes you see). Most collectors will have a record player!PasturesNew wrote: »Vinyl..... so tricky to look after and lug about .... such an 4rse to play .... glad I never had a collection.
I think we stopped when I got pregnant....um.... cult 12'' white label import or a pack of Pampers?? Kind of stopped itself. I do know from my brother that I have some worth a few hundred quid each now plus he swiped quite a few for sampling + remixes.0 -

Just did some random googling on my old address (pre-10).... council house.... one in the road for sale at a freakin' £335k!!!!! 3-bed 1950s semi.
we had a wind up that we got from a jumble sale when I was about 9.....it was great.
Do jumble sales still exist or does everyone do ebay/bootsales now?0 -

son just came in from work and as I am an uber mum (not!) and take little interest in him (well I do but not obsessively) the station is down for maintenance for 6 weeks and it's not in Peckham...it's in Borough and it's not legal
so show goes back on in a few weeks time.

Sounds brilliant fc!
Yes its jazz. A posthumous release. an amazing pianist who played with Duke Ellington. he is one of the all time greats in jazz history, and dh has been given all this never heard before stuff to produce. He was one of dh's biggest fans and cheerleaders and d remains in touch with his wife.0 -
I had a happy but mean spirited moment earlier today.
The postman brought a thank you card in response to a birthday gift we had sent to a 1 year old great neice.
The card is a photo of the child. We had heard she was beautiful .....she looks at best ......like a bulldog. Euwwww.
The kind Mr S was even given to comment.0 -
