I chose in haste/panic/fear of not being accepted elsewhere..... I did wrong.
well....LL may be keen to have all sorts of things but if it doesn't suit you, you can just apologise and say 'sorry, got to move on ''.
However, to get started on the job hunt sounds like the best plan. Once sorted, then you can shop about for a house and then you can ''get on with the rest of your life''.....or at least get started on the jewellery making etc.0 -
You know what I am soooo glad you wrote that as I read your post from a few pages back last night (but it could have been from 3 days ago..I was catching up) and I was stressed that I had been writing too much about the pointless things I have bought recently (like a damien hirst scarf) and temperature control butter dishes.:o
in my defence.....it's just so nice to have a bit of spare after so many years of every single penny going to pay for schools/kids/work things and so on.
I know riding is a costly hobby but it did get me thinking... I was surrounded by your 'herd' (and I have never been so close to such a large animal in my life) and it was really ok, not scary at all. Maybe I may take it up as a once a week hobby, we have a school nearby.
Not all the competitors could do the sideways step to the corner so well and one horse did a jump up at the start when it should have stood still facing the judges.....she/he then went into an almost canter at one point when the music changed.
The best soundtrack was the music to the Hotel Inspector series (no idea on the real title) and Alex Polizzi is my current secret guru.
Fc, how could you ever think it was pointed at you.:rotfl:..
I feel bad my tantrum caught so many i would hope knew i did not mean them in its wake.

agreed
What is it that you don't gel with? I mean, is it anything a little chat could sort out or just fundamental differences?
All energy going into the job hunt feels like a good plan plus winter will be here soon and you won't be able to escape outside as much. At least if you are at work most days, you don't have to be indoors too much.0 -

She's nice enough .... but is definitely in the control freak/controlling camp.... and right now I need to be left the f*** alone.0 -

I also have a terrible confession as to why I have been AWOL on the NPT. I am now officially addicted to Celebrity Big Brother *oh the shame* and have now upgraded to also watching CBB Bit on the side as well. *double shame*
We do watch on record so wipe out the ads but even so, it is using up at least an hour and half every single night of my leisure brain time.
I did notice you were a bit wired but that's understandable right now plus nothing wrong with letting off steam now and again.:)
To PN, are you her 'project'? I will try and think of a succint sentence to gently let her know that you don't require 'project managing' as a person.....just a clean tidy psace to live in.0 -

especially as it, at least to me, appeared to be a request that we spent much more time, preferably all of our time, talking about things like temperature-controlled butter dishes (preferably ones designed by damien hirst) and reducing the amount that other things were discussed.0 -
Now I am gping to unpack all our book cupboards in readiness for half our house to be knocked down......but will pop back tonight0

it sounds more like you are sharing with someone else who shouldn't be sharing, rather than the other way around.0
