only 8 of us. it was quite difficult to get everyone to agree on something, as there were a lot of better options for 8 person chalets for about £200 more a head (which 2 people didn't want to pay, but 2 others really did), but everything cheaper was about 20 minutes walk out of town, and the key thing for all of us was to have apres-ski convenience. so this is the compromise, a couple of people are not happy sharing a chalet with others because they have had bad experiences in the past. i don't care as i will only be in the chalet for about 1 hour each evening to eat dinner and change before going back out again, and during and time i will simply ignore all the other people, including my own group.0 -

that is overly aggressive! i wanted to go to ischgl in austria but no-one else agreed, so we are stuck with big french resort - should be reliable apres ski mess, but i prefer to avoid the english when i go on holiday.0 -

Tbh, i really like to avoid every one when i am away.
Dropped a clanger on the phone recently when chatting to a family member that i had really liked something in particular in their home town when fir and were there...oooops....we, er, were on.y there for a very short time, (true) and we had pretty much every minute organised (true for him and my meals) and could not bunk off,:o:o. When actually we checked with organisers and did just that, as we usually do after the first most 'formal' thing.0 -

Thats very organised. Do you manage to take spontaneous trips too?
Thats one of the things we miss about having animals...you cannot just get on a last minute flight somewhere for one night and see whatever happens. I generally like to be more organised. But i think the odd bit of spontaneous behaviour (when schedule allows) is fun.0
