DH went to beach volleyball this evening. At the end, the women's rowing gold medallists - all six of them - came on to massive cheers for an impromptu 3 on 3 beach volleyball match. He has a pic of them doing the hand signs to each other, but it looks like she's actually sticking her fingers up at her team mate. Great fun by all accounts.

Looking forward to Wednesday, have tix for stadium in the evening.

OH is my favourite non-lager item. Not everything can be #1.

And i think you mentioned that dhe cares for you almost as much as shoes or something similar once? So, you are wll matched. Seems balanced to me.:)

    33 today. :(
    Spring chicken!!

,,,yorkshires (i know i know you're not supposed to have them with chicken).
In my book, you have Yorkshires with EVERY roast meal....
as i said to OH - you've basically cooked a birthday meal for yourself, not for me! i would have preferred fish finger sandwiches but it was a good dinner, and the key is that i didn't have to cook it - i normally cook sunday dinner.
    awww/fish finger sandwiches rock.

when she asks me what i want for presents, i tell her and she says "i'm not getting that it's boring", so the response is "fine, get me whatever you want for my birthday" and then she has a sulk!
What did you want... what did you get?

so is it the case that i can just turn up to the olympic park at whatever time i want if i have tickets for an evening event? i'm pretty sure that's right but can't see it written down anywhere. if i can i want to get there at 9am and wander around all day, watch stuff on big screens etc. and of course go to the butterfly garden.

my opinion on clubbers is that they should all have a pint of ale in a pub garden and just bloody well calm down.
    That's a fact.

i wanted a GPS watch for running/skiing but to be fair that was a bit out of her price range really. so then i asked for a pair of headphones for running which were "boring" and so then i asked for some shirts for work which were "boring". so i got a wallet, and a new tea mug because she smashed my old one (best if i just admit it was my fault instead without going into it :D).

the best present was that she took my decent watch to the shop (there are only a few shops in london that will do that brand of watch) and got the battery changed, something i have consistently forgotten to do for the last year. i was very pleased with that!

I would be up for that,

Note to self, get pass port form.
I wasn't thinking of a proper one, abroad.... because that'd take too much time/cost from people's busy lives. I was thinking of one in England....

But ... maybe you've got a point. I noticed there's some coach trips from £88 for 2 nights ... abroad. It's all furren though :)

Aaargh. Massive headache. Website fiddling. Why the heck don't the pictures line up with the words? I've been trying to make one post look sensible for ages. Boo.
If you're in html mode then stick it in a div...? Hard to know what the problem is without seeing it though :)

I've got some div code if you need it.... but not sure what you're trying to do.

Well, i don't speak german, where the best ones are i am told, but i found germans extremely generous and embarrassing in their numbers of anglophones.

But i do not do coaches. If i can fly by then i would be prepared to meet you there though :D

I missed the one in bath this year. Went the day before it opened and i believe just missed it after it closed. A bit annoying but i have survived.
