There's no point you all coming to the seaside and all of us sitting on the steps to a beach wearing a duffel coat and eating chips in the rain

... and double. Not just a garage. It needs to be an en suite garage.
With a remote fob.
And power/water connected.
And sound/clean (not scruffy and cobweb-ridden) and well built.
... and ... and ....
Oh yeah... a workshop over the garage would be fab.... as well as a rear workshop.0 -

It's Beds that we're most closely associated with.
I've just had HSBC on the phone asking me to pop into a branch to make sure they don't block my card, then gave me the address of the Tbilisi one......
Well done HSBC, you closed that 18 months ago :T:eek:💙💛 💔0 -
Happy birthday chewie, what are you having for dinner?
And how old are you?
33 today.
had roast chicken with tarragon, roast spuds, carrots, cauliflower cheese and yorkshires (i know i know you're not supposed to have them with chicken). as i said to OH - you've basically cooked a birthday meal for yourself, not for me! i would have preferred fish finger sandwiches but it was a good dinner, and the key is that i didn't have to cook it - i normally cook sunday dinner.0 -

yeah, but birds don't listen to the rules do they.
when she asks me what i want for presents, i tell her and she says "i'm not getting that it's boring", so the response is "fine, get me whatever you want for my birthday" and then she has a sulk!0 -
Happy Birthday Chewie! Although no fishfinger sandwich, your dinner sounds lovely. And like you said, always a bonus when it is booked for you

Hope things are improving CK, and keep looking after yourself lir.0 -

I have noticed that belin is very en vogue atm. Any one know why? I mean, in particular, now? I have never been and dh is not that keen on germany ( i have only been to cologne, briefly, which i thought a really nice little city).
Probably because it had monumental buildings before the Cold War and after that it was a showcase city for the eastern and Western blocs, and they tried to outdo each other.
Been to Cologne- it's their fourth city and very impressive. Germany's awash with impressive cities and sometimes seems like a much bigger country like the USThere is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0
