Just reading in the papers about a body found near our old doctor's surgery in the missing millionairess story. We thought we were living in a quiet sedate area but it's strange to think even places like that can have weird stuff going on in the background.
Any NPs ever lived in an area which turned out to have a dark side to it?
I personally feel that there is good & bad in every place you go. It is part of human nature, & will therefore be everywhere humans are.
Look at when they arrest murderers/serial killers. All the neighbours tell you what a nice person they were & you'd never suspect a thing...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Why do the elephant-footed noisy c****s always live above me????
Sounds like there's 4 people above me, with very heavy feet .... and running back/forth and around while talking loudly.

Back in 1990, a boy was kidnapped by a !!!!!phile and kept in a house no further than 100m from my own, for 56 days. None of the neighbours had a clue and it made everyone sick to the pit of their stomachs to feel so powerless, as well as desperately sad for the boy. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Things that have impressed me about the olympics:
the rowers - brilliant,
the canoeing - great fun
Cyclists - goes without saying
The sailing team getting their act together over the past 48 hours
Murray having an amazing match with Djokovic today
The gymnasts (mens), especially as Kristion Thomas is a local lad...
I still haven't watched the opening ceremony. I really must this weekend. However today I did order the 2cd album of the music from the opening ceremony.
However, coming in at number one has been the general behaviour of the crowd in supporting GB athletes. It's enough to make me a little bit emotional, seeing how our public want our athletes to win medals! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
