I thought we were going to be able to see more through the red button. I wanted to see some of the eventing dressage to day (specifically klimke) but cannot see it for view. :(
    This link should work:

Presumably you've got freeview rather than satellite? There simply isn't the bandwidth to show every sport on Freeview.

Oh ... and I was in Boots and went on one of those machines that prints out how awful you are..... here are my current stats.

Please don't quote this post as it might disappear.

    Weight: 10st 1lb 64.3Kg
    Height: 5'1.3" 1.56m
    BMI 26.4
    Body Fat 43.3%
    Body Fat Mass 27.8kg

Recommendations for body fat show 38.7% as "poor" so I did worse than that.
BMI says more than 25 is overweight... yep, guilty.

    My ideal weight is 7st 11lb to 9st 8lb (45Kg to 60.8 Kg)

I should at least aim for 8st 13lb really. See how these bananas and this swimming malarky work.
How come .... since I wrote this I've not eaten a lot (certainly a LOT less than usual), I've walked and swum a LOT..... every day .... and today when I went into the same Boots on the same machine it says I've put on 1 pound but my fat is down a bit.

    Sucks to be me.....

    It now says:
    Weight 10st2lb (64.6Kg)
    Body Fat 39.7%

... and somebody's going to give me that guff about muscle.... I've not done THAT much exercise malarky....

Walking is just about the best exercise for weight loss.

Alarm went off a six and I realised it wasn't such a great idea to have drunk a few glasses of wine whilst watching the ceremony last night:o

Got to Horseguards Parade at 08.00 - massive queue snaking up and down the Mall and right back to where i was at Admiralty Arch. Great, I thought, lucky if I get in by lunchtime  Gladly I was wrong and at my seat, row 15 by 08.35

Beach Volleyball - what a hoot, enjoyed every moment of it. Viva, you'll have a great time. The players, the dancers and even the rakers make it an all round great experience - enjoy.

It all takes time, I think. I've lost a stone or more in the last six months, but during and after DD's wedding I ate & drank about twice as much as normal, yet it's had no impact....:D

    .....yet. :o

Oh..and it is official, I am in a relationship.

Great news Sue, I hope you have some "you time" and some fun.

I loved the opening ceremony although thought it may have been a bit of a mystery to the international audience. Stunning living talent...never mind the the Brunel and Shakespeare.

Great moments ....too many to recall, but the inclusiveness was fantastic. Wheelchair dancers, Kaos choir, Mohammed Ali, recall of 7/7 - diverse and respectful alongside huge fun.

Then our amazing Queen showing British self deprecation and 'sending herself up'.

    Congratulations Sue:beer:

Cycle race taken over big chunks of Surrey including area not too far from me, around Wheezy and Chewie's stomping ground.

Going to cause me problems when I'm taxiing the kids from A to B so better investigate further.

Mate from East London wants to meet up - going to find out the hard way how central London's / Whitechapel's disrupted:(
