oh Viva I tried the ticket website last night and today and only got selections for 2k each 0-0
That might be because there was a bloke (Paul Lewis?) the money man on Breakfast TV who was telling the world that there are abundant tickets from £20.12 available - and explained why there are so many kicking about. He said other countries had returned their unsold ones and as the venues were being built whole blocks were held back as they wouldn't know until the last minute what seats had what views. So quite a big and clear piece about tickets from £20.12 to £2012.

We've found the best thing to use to attract the other party is a bell. It's quite a high-pitched ring, but it cuts through tractor noise and windy rustlings very well. :)

And there was me, the thread's resident luddite, going to recommend one of those new-fangled cellular phone thingies I keep seeing people shouting into!

Anyway I thought you were setting us up for one of the tales from GDB's Saki website

I often just grab my mobile if I want to talk to DW and she is upstairs and I am downstairs, whereas she seems to prefer to shout :(

For those of you miffed at my recent beach stories, here's one to cheer you up .... all that carting stuff about down to the beach in my shoulder bag has caused a muscle sprain - I've put my shoulder out. It hurts... a LOT...and I've limited use of my right arm at all.

    :(

See - there IS a God!

I can get to all of those pretty quickly.. It's more a case of where he can get back to. Stanmore is current fave as you can just get on/stay on.

If you are after something other than opening and closing, its worth continuing to try one of the minor events just to experience it. Would you be able to see the opening ceremony fireworks from your place? It may be worth working out which direction to look from the window.

oooh what are the drink things? You could try the salt licking for a day or two just to see if it helps but if you have an instinct of 'no' ...could be a reason.
I think the heat is going away on Saturday for a while ...in fact the rain could come back (no please no).

Actually, I'll post this here was having a chat with team yesterday about big gentle horses and photo shoots and things. Photographer lived in your area until recently but still connected to down that way.

Would be for summer range 13 though shooting wouldn't take place until Nov :( when it's cold and dark and miserable. I'll have a think and message you in a few eeks time if I have an idea. The team is only small (3 people) and it only takes 2 hours usually.

Hmm, dark and moody skies? Rough on the scantily clad. Clothes horse, fine for and actual horse ( they do have longer hair in the winter).
