My eBay password is shortish, but completely insane. It's what someone in our family thought our new house was called after the address had been copied from one family member to another a few times.

Unfortunately, if I told you what it was I'd have to.....etc. :D

Old car numbers are quite useful for passwords. Then you can write a clue like "Ford Anglia" and it doesn't help anyone else. :)

Likewise telephone numbers for places you don't live any more.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Vercar, is that a real line in one of those books? We can barely breath from laughing and dh is threating to chase me with his pointer finger and mew at me. If this is real than i think the books might be worth buying.

Courgette is my favourite vegetable (more so than even mushrooms). There are few dishes I wouldn't add courgette to. Should I ever be grown up enough to have my own garden, that is the first thing I will try to grow :)

Peas are my favourite veg - in any form.
I was given 6 courgette seeds last year. As there were only 6, I planted them all (assuming some wouldn't sprout). All 6 did. The house was overloaded with courgettes all year!:D

Ah, but are the NP views on peas correlated with views on mushrooms?

    Me:
Mushrooms: Button ones fine, but can't stand like big black field ones.
Peas: Yes, but not if mushy.
Courgette/marrow: Will eat, but prefer not

    Me:
Mushrooms - get thee behind me satan!
    Peas:
in order, petite pois, garden peas, mushy peas, processed peas. For the record, bloomin well love peas, loads of them, & I'll happily half fill my plate with them!

I repotted my first lot of toms yesterday. That is their last repotting. The plants have flowers on now, so we're in a waiting game. There are 11 plants.
I have another 16 which need repotting for the penultimate time. I ran out of compost, so will get some on the way home.
Slugs have been nibbling my first lot of carrts argh.gif 2nd batch of carrots appear ok for now.
I have pea pods on the pea plants, & the beetroot appear to have taken well in the ground.

I need to plant more lettuce seeds, as I keep eating it!

I've read 14. What's missing, & what is your score?

    I am 5/100.

If I hadn't been forced to read 4 of them at school I would be 1/100 (the BFG).

I am also 1/100 on the non-fiction list (the selfish gene).

At least nothing by Dan Brown made the list. I find these lists fairly silly really, not that I am criticising you for making a talking point of it, but I am suspicious of them as a reliable indicator of how good anything is.

For instance, all "funniest/greatest TV moment ever" lists have Del Boy falling through the bar as the #1 moment. Let's be honest, it's pretty rubbish and not that funny. People will say this is the greatest TV moment ever because they cannot think for themselves.

All top film lists invariably have Citizen Kane as #1 even when I'm pretty sure that the person compiling the list hasn't actually seen it (nevertheless they will justify its inclusion by saying something about revolutionary camera work).

Conversely, if you looked at a top 100 albums ever made list ten years ago, it would have 3 radiohead albums in the top 10, these days there would probably only be one in the top 100.

As founding member of !!!!!! (Mushroom International Liberation Front), I feel the need to specify that I don't really like those big flat black ones either.
