My mum's went very feint... So she got semi-permanent tattoos (sounds funny calling them tattoos!). They are brilliant, you can't really tell unless you know.

I would really consider that now.

She didn't tell any of us before she had them done, and when my brother first saw he kept asking her if she'd lost weight etc and trying to work out why she looked so well. If he managed to notice a difference (but not what had been done), they must be good!

It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

I prefer to swim in my skin.

Question. Golliwogs.....are they considered offensive or not? (i have a few, mainly very old ones, and love them but see them no more as like a black person than i identify with a cabbage patch doll or raggady andy). I have two in my dining room but am just about to pack them away and wondered whether i M heinous for looking forward to having them back.

They are VERY common attire at most stag parties in Newquay... if you don't think it could be true, search Youtube. I figure if you spent one day in the thick of things ... you'd see at least one.

People have tried to moan, but they're generally passed as OK and you can openly see them for sale in shop windows.... which wouldn't happen if they were offensive.

Gollies, as intended, were very loved and popular. Those that twist the word/meaning/intent are sad. It's just a toy that gives fond childhood memories of lovely times.

Go out to buy a swimming costume, then go back. Swimming doesn't matter if it rains, yet is still a novelty for you.
