I have been known to just have tap water and green tea, but I also like the plum wine. If it's £3.80 for a bottle of water, then I don't think a beer is much more, and there is no contest :)

Never had the wine there. I think i might have had a cocktail last time (last year in salisbury)

Just remembererd that the town where I couldn't find an ashtray to buy was also the town where I gave up the devil's weed. Hmmm... new town, new start.Getting any nice healthy ideas PN?:whistle:

Pah! Water-- we all know what fish do in it! It just makes you wonder what they'd charge for a nice glas of wine or beer.

    Hahahahaha

    1) It's healthier than smoking anyway (I don't do it btw)

    2) Yes, exactly. It's all water, whether it's been fished for 400 years or come out the tap.

I seem to remember you taught her to give both cats some kind of cat treat, and then there was no stopping them - the cats didn't want to leave her alone, and she kept begging for more treats to give them. :)

Went to meeting at DS's new school this evening - for new parents. Met his tutor (v nice) caught up with the senco and told her how much better he's been coping recently (:)) and spent an excessive amount of money on tie, blazer badge, rugby shirt etc etc. Felt fine on the way there and during the meeting, but massively afflicted by hayfever cycling home through the park. Antihistamines just kicking in now - must go and apologise to kids for yelling at them to leave me alone when I was in the middle of the worst of it. :o
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
    :)

This one's the erudite one, as opposed to the domestic and creative one, then?

Hahaha. Thats the one that never stops talking. :)

Your kids were great with the animals, all of them. Even ds dealt amazingly with his reluctance with the dogs. great kids.

I think it must be more exoensive, secondary uniform with boys. With girls thpugh we do keep growing it seems not so much, and the blazer that was huge at eleven is snug by 16, but boys doule in size or something....lots of girls are half way to women by eleven, boys not so much. I was 'full height' by eleven or twelve.
