Big dog? She is still very muich with us, and very hungry having been starved all day. I think if i don't make breakfast quickly enough in the morning she will probably eat me. :)

This is a dog for the future.
Ah goody .... he's well. Big dog rides again..... hurrah!

You'll be staring at the bill .. and he'll be sitting innocently on his bed wondering why you're not any fun right now.... and wondering how he gets a new ball to play with.

In 1988? I thought you were older than that.
Next hearing date is march. Thats five years after we left!

What a PITA. I admire what you're doing as described in your "responsibility" post. :A Glad you're not letting it get you down too much.

On a similar note, I've just got my solicitor to write AGAIN to the coroner, reminding him that the second pre-inquest review was supposed to be last August and asking when it's actually going to be.

I've now asked to see all the documents that my solicitor and barrister have got - had to confirm in writing that I wouldn't show them to anyone, because the coroner's only released them in a restricted way - but I've got them. The wodge of A4 paper is about an inch and a half thick. It's all very interesting. I'm learning quite a lot about the law concerning accidental injuries in general, and fatal ones in particular, and I have a much clearer idea of what happened, but I'm still none the wiser about who will eventually end up with what % of the liability (apart from that it certainly won't be LNE for any of it).

Edit: and I'm not sure babies are that interested in 'effortless chic'!

Also, anyone who thinks a cashmere cardigan is a suitable suggestion for a baby to wear has clearly never spent more than a few minutes with a real live baby, I imagine.

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

It's the latest Takeaway Secret book. Not the first one, there's a new one.
Do you mean More Takeway Secrets? Only costs a few quid.
I've got the first book but haven't had time to make anything from it! Looks good though. :D

They really were. Ronaldo is going to hurt tomorrow. He was kicked in a heck of a lot of places, how he was still standing at the end I don't know.

Lords reform is so long overdue. However I think 15 years is too long.
Lydia I hope you get some resolution soon. It just seems very unfair on you that it takes so long.
    I think....

Thanks. TBH I think it's much harder for his parents. For one thing, their immediate loss from the accident was much worse than mine - an only child as opposed to a very nearly ex-husband whom I'd lost in any meaningful sense a few years earlier. But also, I am rushed off my feet bringing up two kids, earning a living, being there for my own parents (well, just my dad now), trying to get this house into some semblance of order, attempting to begin meeting some men... I don't have time to brood. They have far fewer distractions. :(
