For any NPs in the midlands area, http://www.applausestore.com/applausestore-reserve-form.php?id=1775&bid=4
I get sent these invites as I'm registered with this outfit. It's a free night out and I've enjoyed watching these shows getting filmed. Brallaqueen, lj, Johnny, Doozer, Nikkster, Scarlet, anyone near to Derby, maybe give it a go?

Here's a question I don't know the answer to and maybe some NPs can. Was struck by how the cities have changed over the last 50+ years and it struck me; where are the main docks for Britain seeing as how the big cities' dock areas are now turned into offices and fancy flats? Are there just fewer ports doing more trade or do we just import/export less bulk goods than before?

I've just been asked by the neighbours how we can afford 2-3 takeaways a week.

Take a look at the menu we use here, and tell me if this makes the likes of Dominos look like a rip-off?!

    I think it does!

I'm 2 hours-ish from Derby, but it's not my cup of tea!

    If I want a pizza it's a £2.30 one from Asda. Otherwise it'd be a local one ... but they're expensive... I'd never have a Dominos - they're WELL expensive.

Today I've had one boiled egg and a slice of cheese in a bread roll (lunch). Then some oven chips, microwaved, with the last of the mushy peas I opened yesterday (tea).

Total cost so far today: £1

    Dominos are 'well' expensive!

This is an independent outlet run by about 40 Turks. Each employee has the same number of shares in the company and receives a quarterly dividend + £8k/yr. It's obviously a system that works, as they're all running around in cars under 3 years old of which some are rather nice!

My profile would be much shorter, it'd simply say:

    Genius.

I had a builder doing some work on my house a few years back... and he told me he'd just done some work for the local kebab shop owner. [1] in the building, knocking through to the rear of the building without any PP/regs - any fines for doing this could be paid from one day's profits and it's still open 6 years later. [2] above the shop, to take half of a 6' landing area and build in some "sleeping shelves" inside cupboards, for his illegal workers to sleep/live in.
