Doozer's in charge of doing the place up now we've got it, with lir responsible for individual touches like birdcage lamps, wooden baths, and the like.

Nikkster - thanks for the mention; I'm more than happy to provide virtual electricity for the thread. :)

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Yay! Super efficient, made of recycled stuff with big windows, airtight seals and loads of Lydia's solar panels to keep us ticking over and a bit of hot air to boot :) Farrow and Ball Dead Salmon and Elephant's Breath on the wall, not because they go, but because they're the best paint names ever.

Shoes neatly by the triple glazed front door please, boys!

    Thank you Nikkster!

Having just looked at NPT5 (I know, so last hour):
All our new bathroom plumbing is tiled in to the walls with no access panels, I'm slightly nervous...

We have two sinks built in to units in the family bathroom but it is still not enough storage for all the lotions and potions and the toilet rolls (bought in bulk when on special). In the ensuite we went for a low profile illuminated mirror door cabinet but I don't really like it.

Sunday we are visiting my sister who lives near the Witterings...just when it looks like beach weather will be over :( Still as long as it avoids the jubilee stuff when otherwise I would have to explain to the kids why I would be singing the sex pistols versions of god save the queen whilst making a black power salute. Royalty is fine for the tourists but I am a citizen not some inbred German's subject.
    I think....

Onto the last job for the accounts - but I want a bath. I think bath, early night, early morning, start fresh and work fast in the morning.

Then I can think about something else more exciting (anything) for a while!

(no more 2am posting for Doozer!)
